I think with Bentley joining Tottenham, Aaron Lennon should leave, because hes a very young and talented player, but probably doesnt have a future at spurs

Bentley one wing, Lennon the other?

Or Bentley in the centre somewhere?

Wouldn't say Bentley's arrival would spell the end for Lennon.

:dunno: I think that when Lennon was first playing in the first team for Spurs he was slightly overhyped. People have blinkered views, and he's by nowhere near the finished product, whilst still being a very talented young player. I think he does have a future at Spurs but he needs to bide his time and realise his opportunities will be limited. That, or Tottenham could loan him out to a lesser Premiership team to gain some experience (someone like Fulham, Sunderland, Newcastle).

We don't know that Lennon has no future at Spurs. And he is bar far better than Routledge.

Not my point.

After leaving Spurs, he never impressed at Portsmouth and Fulham, and only scoring one goal in both periods (which knocked us out the FA Cup).

Appearances for Villa since signing in January?

oh well, we are talking about aaron lennon right?, anyways i think a swap should have occoured between spurs and blackburn. The best for both sides. Wont some1 finaly agree?

You can't just expect people to agree. That's virtually the point of a forum, so everyone can present their opinions.

Although Blackburn wouldn't be a bad move for Lennon, maybe they don't want him and would rather spend the handsome sum they are bound to receive for Bentley on a better player.

Linked with Pennant I think, that would be ok for them.

:yesyes: Pennant is better than Lennon imo and is still reasonably young himself.

Wouldn't go that far, but yeah he'd be good for them. And would leave them a fair bit to strengthen their squad.

good move for them and him. i was quite impressed with him when he played last year and he would be playing every week at b'burn

He can turn anyone inside out with his pace but can he cross? No

Needs to go out on loan for a season and get 40 games under his belt, somehwhere where he would play week in week out. Perhaps one of the newly promoted clubs?

I want to see what all the fuss about John Bostock is, doubt Ramos will play him though next season.

Maybe Sunderland would take him for a season, they've taken most of Spurs other players.

Malbranque - Tainio - Whitehead - Richardson

Is not a bad midfield at all.

Not really relevant, but just felt the need to post it.
