Or Bentley in the centre somewhere? Wouldn't say Bentley's arrival would spell the end for Lennon.

People have blinkered views, and he's by nowhere near the finished product, whilst still being a very talented young player. I think he does have a future at Spurs but he needs to bide his time and realise his opportunities will be limited. That, or Tottenham could loan him out to a lesser Premiership team to gain some experience (someone like Fulham, Sunderland, Newcastle).

And he is bar far better than Routledge.

After leaving Spurs, he never impressed at Portsmouth and Fulham, and only scoring one goal in both periods (which knocked us out the FA Cup). Appearances for Villa since signing in January? 1.

Although Blackburn wouldn't be a bad move for Lennon, maybe they don't want him and would rather spend the handsome sum they are bound to receive for Bentley on a better player.

No Needs to go out on loan for a season and get 40 games under his belt, somehwhere where he would play week in week out. Perhaps one of the newly promoted clubs? I want to see what all the fuss about John Bostock is, doubt Ramos will play him though next season.
