Although its only friendlies, should get to see a some quality football. The likes of Van Der Vaart, Sneijder, Fabregas to name but a few.

Never been to The Emirates either.

Sounds brilliant, wish I could go. Need to save up for away games etc though. Have a good time though and tell us all about it when you get back ;)

Arsenal 0 - 1 Juventus

:scarf:

And could have been a more 'apt' scorer - Frenchman David Trezeguet.

C'Mon Juve

Arsenal average age 20.5 in this game! 15 year old Wilshire at left midfield.

Surely not a good idea 2 weeks before the start of the Premier League season?

15, for Arsenal, against a top class Juve side :o

So many part-time Arse fans in London today because they can finally get a ticket.

This is correct, they didnt even bother putting it up to gold, silver or red members, just straight to general sale.

It was only a crappy Friendly Tournament thing like we had the Pepsi one a few years back.

Ahhh wish I had read this post yesterday.

Would have recommended a nice little chip shop ran by Chinese people, just a short walk from Highbury.

Chips & a Cheeseburger for £1.50, bloody lovely.

And all from Northampton, ****s.

As I said earlier, London yesterday was purely Arsenal fans, Russel Brand Lookalikes, 7 lads from LEICS and 1 gay bag.

Anyone do the Anelka butterfly out the car window to Arsenal fans on the National Express? No?

I did.

You was having your nap. :P

TBH i'm a little intoxicated. I thought maybe I forgot to post it.

However is this one ok then;

Did ASH17lcfc go with his amazing £60 Arsenal shirt, which was real and wasn't made in a sweatshop?

Tbh I've got to say that the football the patchwork Arsenal side played yesterday was at times awesome, but it really is true, they will not shoot. As a neutral I've never been so frustrated watching a team. If they shot when an opening presented itself, they would easily score 25% more goals at least, and thats not an exaggeration.

And Jack Wilshere, the 16 year old winger, looked a definite prospect as well.

Although they won, Juve were average considering the strength of their team. Their players were absoulute coonts as well, some of the theatrics were unbelievable.

Robinho looked a bit tasty for Real when he came on as well, but I'm not sure he'd be able to deal with the physicality of the Premiership yet as he's quite a nimble player.

Out of the 4 teams, Arsenal looked like with a real goalscorer in their ranks, they could piss on any of these teams. Their pace, power and movement in particular was streets better than the foreign opposition. Though Eboue is absolute garbage, I'm still wondering how exactly he still plays for Arsenal. When Sagna came on, he was quality, and some of his play with Walcott up the right was frightening. I reckon he could really break through this season, and Nasri looked promising when he came on too.

EDIT: Also worth pointing out, we sat near the Hamburg fans and they were a right laugh. Most the Juve and Real fans sounded suspiciously English, but the German fans came in impressive numbers and their team played well as well, shouldn't really have lost to Madrid.
