dandannieldanok Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 "To help him along the way, I've appointed Bam Bam as Club skipper. It's a role that I think he deserves having been a fantastic servant to Ipswich Town. Who the **** is Bam Bam ?!?
Daggers Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 McAuley named new captain Shut the **** up! How? Why? Who? Are they havin' a laff?
Father Ted Posted 5 August 2008 Author Posted 5 August 2008 Who the **** is Bam Bam ?!? That Naylor guy I think... They have two captains for some reason...
Thracian Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 He never struck me as captain material and I wouldn't want him back, never mind as skipper. But good luck to the bloke. I don't blame him for leaving. Probably wouldn't have got in here.
Lovejoy Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 That Naylor guy I think...They have two captains for some reason... We did with Twattio and McCarthorse in 06/07. Didn't we ?
Father Ted Posted 5 August 2008 Author Posted 5 August 2008 We did with Twattio and McCarthorse in 06/07. Didn't we ? Yeah, I think so, but I think that was because Tiatto was first-choice captain but he was either injured, suspended or on international duty so it seemed as if McCarthy was captain all the time...
Tevez Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 What's the difference between Club Captain and Captain?
Lillehamring Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 jeez, it wouldn't surprise me if ipswich are this years (leicester/leeds/forest) ...mind you they'll have some tough competition!
lookwhaticando Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 jeez, it wouldn't surprise me if ipswich are this years (leicester/leeds/forest)...mind you they'll have some tough competition! Forest are desperate not to become this year's Forest.
Bryn Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 Who is our captain? Has Oakley been officially named yet?
lildave3 Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 What's the difference between Club Captain and Captain? Well I imagine the club captain won't be playing. Either way, g'won McAuley.
Ultra Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 Magilton must see something that the rest of us don't.. McAuley didn't show too many obvious leadership skills when he was here.
Corky Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 Magilton must see something that the rest of us don't.. McAuley didn't show too many obvious leadership skills when he was here. I agree. It's a risk from the Tractor Boys.
Webbo Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 Good luck to the lad, seriously underrated on here. We'll miss him next season.
