yes i see what you mean, they must have changed the way ads are submitted recently as i've not sold on ebay for a while .

All i can suggest is that you set the starting bid at the same price as "buy it now" and and tick the buy it now option in step 5

In the space where you put your price of the auction in, above it, it will say auction, you need to click fixed price instead.
