This man is an animal, he should be put down.

He stamped on a 81 year old's head and all he took from his house was a cash card and a jar of coppers?

Then he slashed a 50 year old woman before, again, stamping on her face and all he took was a necklace worth £35 at Cash Converters?

Deserves never to see sunlight again. Absolutely sickening.

How people live any sort of normal life after someone has done that to member of their family I'll never know, I'd be waiting everyday for this guy until I could go to work on him with a blowtorch when he got out. Couldn't care less how 'sick' people think I am.

Don't think I'd like the blowtorch smell so I'd just do something 'action movie' style like put a grenade in their mouth lol

Would defo get respect for a classic like that.

By making a comment like that you show the same psychopathic tendencies that he does.

Jack Russell dog bites baby and kills him ---> Put down.

Man brutally murders 2 people ---> Prison, no doubt released early.

I can see your point but we are humans with emotions and reason embedded into our brain. It is hard mixing the both sometimes.

For me this makes it worse.

A dog bites a child in a split second of madness and is simply killed without question.

The man however planned his actions of killing and robbing both people. As a human he has the intelligence to know right from wrong and how this will affect the people's families.

Therefore in these 2 scenarios in the news at the moment, the man is far more guilty than the dog.

Yes but I meant the revenge part. We should be able to think before taking revenge as well. Although not a man of violence I would shed no tears if that jhappened to someone like that. I just could not do it as I would have a guilt complex.

If the dog was out down, surely it was at the request of the family; a destruction order can only be obtained if there's a conviction, and nothing has reached the courts, as far as I can see.

Further, it's far easier to avoid a destruction order, by imposing other sanctions on the dog/owner. So dogs do have rights too.

Last seen 11 months ago, this fat, lazy git, who can't be arsed to shave or even keep his beard trimmed, has been creaming the adoration of children worldwide whilst the reality is (sorry kids) that millions of postal workers and warehouse staff are working their butts off to make sure that people get what they asked for on time (without the use of little helpers or ficticious reindeer.) No doubt he will be putting in numerous appearances around the nations shopping centres, doing naff all but revelling in children's adulation.

Don't blame me when this pervert comes sneaking into your child's bedroom in the dead of night! Having first eaten any food you were stupid enough to leave lying around in the living room, of course.

I don't know whether I find your constant legal parlance erotic or not really. Do you breathlessly recount case law on the brink of orgasm? That would be so hot.

Lisa is often to be found at the bar.

Save that talk for the "What floats your boat" thread.

Slander!

I have a well stocked drinks cabinet, and have no need to leave the house.

Not meaning to be a pedant, but it's actually libel

Not meaning to be a bigger pedant, but it's actually defamation

Incorrect, I'm afraid.

Defamation is the universal term which encapsulates both slander and libel.

It was libel as the words were published in a permanent form - i.e typed.

I did think so, but then Lisa should know what she is talking about, she will probably lawyer her way out of it.

I also know what I'm talking about
