Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 23 November 2008 Posted 23 November 2008 Ankaragucu and their hideous kit held Fener to a 0-0 draw today. How did Besiktas get on? Also, Dortmund beat Karlsruhe 1-0. Mohammed Zidan is starting to show some form.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 23 November 2008 Posted 23 November 2008 They play tonight.Galatasary were also in Ankara, and also drew 0-0. Okey dokey. Bobo hat trick, methinks.
Joe. Posted 23 November 2008 Posted 23 November 2008 Atletico drew 1-1 with Numancia, done by a 95th minute penalty. <_< Just noticed PSG beat Lyon last night too which is nice.
Darkzzz_ Posted 24 November 2008 Author Posted 24 November 2008 Barca were pretty poor last night against a well organised Getafe. Keita managed to rescue a point in a 1-1 draw. That league is certainly open this year with everyone beating everyone.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 Besiktas beat Eskisehirspor 2-0. Sivok and Nobre with the goals. They go second, two points behind Trabzonspor.
Ric Flair Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 Sampdoria tanned Catania 3-0 and Cassano was obscene. 2 goals and an opener from Bellucci means Samp have now started to pick up a bit of form with back to back wins for the first time this season. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=oWl66SfICS8

Cassano is at home with Samp. This is probably the best he has been since his early glimpses at Roma.

Floating Fox Posted 26 November 2008 Posted 26 November 2008 Just watched the Bundesliga highlights from the weekend. I am falling in love with this man, even though he plays for a the team I hate. 14 Games - 16 Goals. He's only 24 as well!! Bochum back into the drop zone after loosing 3-2 at Home to Hertha Berlin. Good result for Frankfurt, who won 4-0 against Hannover, despite loosing to Dortmund 4-0 the week before. Bayern Munich won comfortably over Cottbus, hopefully Cat Burger gets back to give us a report. Seeing Luca Toni do an overhead kick live must have made his day.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 November 2008 Posted 26 November 2008 I've officially adopted Al-Ahly of Egypt as another team. Aboutrika is a class act.
Joe. Posted 26 November 2008 Posted 26 November 2008 I've officially adopted Al-Ahly of Egypt as another team.Aboutrika is a class act. So basically you've adopted the Egypt national team.

Yeah it did end up being comfortable after going down 1-0, Rensing is a bit dodgy I have to say. Toni's agility WAS impressive but Franck Ribery's display (even in his pink panther boots) was the best single performance I've ever witnessed, and his free kick was perfect. Good to see my long time fave striker Miro Klose score aswell, love him even if he is a bit crap. Experiencing the atmoshphere at the Allianz is going to make it hard for me to enjoy a leicester game for a while I can tell you, the way the crowd answers the P.A man may not be to everyone's taste but I loved it. I especially I like the way that the fans say 'null' for the opposition even when they have scored. Cracking humour. Can't get my new phone to communicate with my comp, so it may take a while to upload some pictures. Danke....."BITTE"
Darkzzz_ Posted 26 November 2008 Author Posted 26 November 2008 Glad your enjoyed it. I would love to catch a Bayern game. Might have to put that on the list.
Cat Burger Posted 26 November 2008 Posted 26 November 2008 Glad your enjoyed it.I would love to catch a Bayern game. Might have to put that on the list. I'd massively recommend it, I used Viagogo, it was pretty easy to get tickets with them as I knew the game I could get to, then I checked most days. I stayed in Munich for 6 days and including the match tickets it cost me about £250, plus my spending money. The only real Michael Ballache was getting the plane from Stansted.
lildave3 Posted 26 November 2008 Posted 26 November 2008 I've officially adopted Al-Ahly of Egypt as another team.Aboutrika is a class act. Good european team them.
lildave3 Posted 26 November 2008 Posted 26 November 2008 I've just found out that the UEFA Cup final is at the Sukru Saracoglu in 2009. Awesome.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 November 2008 Posted 26 November 2008 Good european team them. I bought up Velez / Boca in this thread and got told it wasn't off topic. So "ap yows," smart arse.
Ric Flair Posted 27 November 2008 Posted 27 November 2008 I've followed Scandanavian football a bit in the past few years, mainly the Swedish League as I love Sweden in general. I haven't got a favourite team as such, although I did keep an eye out for Malmo when Ibrahimovic burst on to the scene. I'll have a butchers and bring some o' that to the table. Although their season is different to ours and is soon to be finished for a while.

I'd love to see Ze Roberto play live as well, still very impressive even at his age. I love the way they respond to the P.A man as well, at some grounds he even leads the chants after a goal. Quality! Did they sell beer to your seat at the Allianz? Surprised you thought the atmosphere was that good to be fair, I've heard its not the best for atmosphere in Germany!
CosbehFox Posted 28 November 2008 Posted 28 November 2008 Ya, sehr gut. Kacar scores! Hertha 1-0. Is that really Voronin fella looks pretty good in Bundesliga? Love Friday night Bundesliga fussball.
lildave3 Posted 28 November 2008 Posted 28 November 2008 Nihat, it's the big one tomorrow my man. My beloved Fenerbahce vs your Besiktas. Says 18:00 kick off, so i'm blatantly going to search Justin.tv when I get back from the Walkers.
