morris1234 Posted 17 November 2008 Posted 17 November 2008 i dont know if its changed on the new version (09) as i havent got it yet but all you need to do is in game, go to options, then preferences, untick the cache box and click confirm. thats after youve extracted it. when you clcik confirm it will tell you to wait while its loading the stuff. i dont think you have t save then go back in. you didnt have to on the old ones anyway!

(as did i) hmmmmm must be doing something wrong... They won't load up for me. Yeah I think this time I just could not wait for the game so I just purchased it. Had my share of illegal goods so might as well give something back.

dandannieldanok Posted 17 November 2008 Posted 17 November 2008 Prem LogosHow to install: Sports interactive -> FM 2009 -> create folder "graphics" -> create folder "pictures" -> create "club logos" -> extract folders there... Then make sure you untick skin cache box in preferences. Thanks for this

I brought Dean Windass on in the second half, changed my tactics to be more direct whilst also pushing my defence up slightly. Super Deano then scores two screamers to level and then win the game 3-2. Steven Carr scored the first one....

CosbehFox Posted 17 November 2008 Posted 17 November 2008 I haven't signed anyone apart from Edworthy. Gave Lansbury/Randall chances but Weso and Oakley work for me. If Oaks gets tired quite easy. Need a striker with some zoom, Fryatt got about 15 for the season and is the dog's. Back Four, Gilbert okish, Mattock great, Tunchev and 'norbo at the back for me. Plan to sell Norbo. Worley's not bad on it, if you have to pay 50k for him after one game. Hobbs pants, Morrison okay as back-up. Deadwood clean-out I reckon in January - got me eye on James Brown from Hartlepool or Steve Jennings from Tranmere. A planned move for Ali Karimi didn't come off. I have had to use the tactics on this more than anyone FM game before.
