***** BREAKING NEWS *****

It is with regret (sort of) that I need to announce my resignation as Mentor of Group Three this morning. Filbo, take some deep breaths. In through the nose. Out through the mouth. Right, that's better. I do apologise, however I go on holiday for 2 weeks on Wednesday and as such I can't offer the level of commitment clearly demanded by Hitler Filbo.

Let's face it though this competition needs some excitement, some controversy, some life breathed in to it. Unfortunately news of my resignation is unlikely to offer any of these things. Nevermind.

Anyway. Please accept my insincere apologies for the inconvenience this may cause to the competition. Sincere apologies to my mentees who I all know will be deeply shocked by this news.

LD3 would be my obvious choice as replacement however I believe, like others, he has shunned the competition in favour of the rival MWTG Factor.

If anyone else is interested in taking the reins please let me know. I believe it is only fair that it is my choice as to who takes my place.

I'm sorry Ric. But it's for the best. I couldn't give you the attention, guidance and support you deserve over the next 2 weeks. I wasn't particularly fond of the idea of spending my holiday checking FTX Factor. No offence.

Lest we forget my last minute decision to ignore Filbo last year in the final by choosing The Cribs instead of Queen (his reccomendation) and The Cribs getting the most votes.

I think this is what happened. Although there is a strong possibility this is a complete fabrication. I remember being robbed in the final though getting through first the previous 6 weeks or something.

Oh, I will respond to this... last year's by admission was changed many times throughout which is why this time, I don't want to change the rules half way through... hence also why last time was a 'trial run'. lol

:laugh:

But I did admit that I made lots of changes throughout... so it was basically a trial to sort everything out so it ran smoothly next time.

Anyways, I'm sure you'll do well again this year. :):kissing:
