lcfc_jme Posted 22 September 2008 Posted 22 September 2008 Some of us have already done the whole student thing and are now upstanding members of the community and don't need to drink lots..... and I was tired alright? Tired?! No excuse! Double vodka and redbull. It'll wake yer up a treat. Give a better showing. Be like Dr Singh!!! This time, Waterman, this time....... Hmm. We'll see. I doubt your ability to last the distance, personally.
fox123 Posted 22 September 2008 Posted 22 September 2008 I'd forgotten about them! How they looking?Erm... probably. I used to be able to drink quite a bit and then one night at my cousins wedding I drank far too much and have no memory of what happened for about two hours of it. All I know from what Ive been told is that I made a bit of a prat of myself and was singing "It's all about you" by McFly very loud in the hotel After that I hardly drank for about 6 months and havent been a heavy drinker since (apart from one night in Dublin but it's just polite to drink too much when in Ireland.... and customary to order anything after your 7th pint in an awful irish accent before falling around thinking you're the funniest guy to ever visit the city) Apart from that though Me and my mates usually go on an all dayer once a year xmas eve - last time we started at 10am I finishad at 4am xmas day, I didn't see that much of Xmas or boxing day come to think of it!

General Smuts Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Credit where credits due - only Cobbo and Scoweh have lastest the distance 3 times out of the last 3. I wasn't at the first one so i wouldn't know how that one went.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 If certain people (myself included) want to get involved but can't because they haven't played before, why not organise a noobs vs oldies game? Just an idea, I await it getting shot down in flames.
Floating Fox Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Is this going ahead now its been postponed? Whos organising...? I'll help if needed!

Not a bad idea, it all depends if you can get enough people from FT to have another game. It could be like the First team U21 vs O21 and Second team U21 v second team O21? Is that the typew of idea you mean

Maybes Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Well i would be Under 21s reserves. I dont think it would be fair to make the usual organisers do this aswell. If you wanted it to happen I would imagine you would perhaps have to try and organise it yourself

Bert Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 I agree never played before but i want to play this time but have been told ony if somone drops out <_< You may want to think about your attitude to other posters that are involved in these matches too.
Kilworthfox Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 You may want to think about your attitude to other posters that are involved in these matches too. I'm in for it

MC Prussian Posted 25 September 2008 Posted 25 September 2008 I shall be attending this game - as a spectator (unless someone magically comes up with a pair of footie shoes size 43-44 EU and some shin pads).
Bert Posted 25 September 2008 Posted 25 September 2008 Still unsure as to whether it'll be an Over 21 v under 21, or Foxestalk V Internet Foxes.
