The Reverend Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 Just about to tee off. I fancy the USA. They are underdogs and seem to have been written off, butwithout Wood's, i think there'll be a better atmosphere within their camp. I wouldnt be surprised if there was an upset.
Fox You Forest Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 Good start for Europe. I cant not stand "get in the hole"
Alexikokopops Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 fook going outside on a beautiful day like this, I'm staying in to watch the golf and sort out some photos.
Uncle Albert Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 Garcia and Westwood what a pairing. Whats their record together?

I actually cant tell if you're being sarcastic there. Garcia and Westwood what a pairing.Whats their record together? I'm pretty sure Garcias never lost a foursomes match in the Ryder Cup, and i think Westwood's got a similar record.
Ric Flair Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 The Golf or In the hole? Golf and especially the Ryder Cup. I shall watch Tin Cup tonight when I get home pissed out of me business.
Alexikokopops Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 I actually cant tell if you're being sarcastic there. I'm not There'll be sun before the end of the year! I'm going to enjoy the golf!

Alexikokopops Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 Bravo Sir! Didnt know you were a golf fan. I don't like it so much usually but when you throw in the match play and the whole two-team-competitiveness of the Ryder Cup then I'm a fan. I guess I find it harder to get enthused about it when you have 50 individuals going for one thing. Europe against USA though, everyone loves a bit of that

People that dont watch much cricket (like me) love the Ashes.

Europe against USA though, everyone loves a bit of that I am more of a fan for the singles and the majors compared to The Ryder Cup. Just prefer supporting Sergio Garcia on his own and I dont like some of the players in the Europe side. Paul Casey being one of them. I want Europe to win but I would prefer Sergio to win all of his matches. Bit weird when someone from Europe hits a good tee-shot aswell because we are expected to hear cheers and claps from people but the Americans are dead silent when Europe hit a good shot. Shot of the day goes to Stuart Cink's iron shot in to the water. Absolute brilliance. Anyone see Mickleson get that bloke ejected from the course?

Uncle Albert Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 Yeah, what did he actually do? Take a picture? Yes mate, whilst in his swing. Didnt affect him to much as it turned out to be a good chip.

I'm sure if I had an individual player I supported I'd feel the same. As it stands though the Ryder Cup is my favourite golf jobby. That iron shot from Cink was fantastic.
