Ajax Treesdown Posted 21 September 2008 Posted 21 September 2008 How poor is this player!! If this is our number 2...then god help us for the future. Peya made him look like a amateur village club player.
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 September 2008 Posted 21 September 2008 Oh. Tennis is boring Your fuking boring. Alex Bogdanovic is shit, always has been and always will be, we'll never get anywhere with him in the Davis cup team so I don't know why there so much coverage of the match to be quite honest!

What else do the BBC have to show on BBC 2, midday afternoon that can compete with Manchester Utd vs Chelsea/Ryder Cup?
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 September 2008 Posted 21 September 2008 What else do the BBC have to show on BBC 2, midday afternoon that can compete with Manchester Utd vs Chelsea/Ryder Cup? I'd rather watch re-runs of Ello Ello than watch Alex Bogdanovic play Davis Cup tennis.
Anish Posted 21 September 2008 Posted 21 September 2008 How he has managed to forge a professional career in tennis I'll never know. The AELTA should stop giving him wild cards into Wimbledon every year, he's a joke and should earn his place rather than getting it handed on a plate.
Jimmy Posted 21 September 2008 Posted 21 September 2008 is Jamie Murray really THAT bad in singles that Alex Bogdanovic is better then him? still at least there are 3 male british tennis players that a lot of people have heard of, can't name 1 British woman apart from Laura Robson and she's only 14 and an Aussie by birth

Couldn't agree more, he's forged his career by being the (2nd) best of a very bad bunch and losing in the first round of wimbledon every year.

She's around 70th in the world now or something like that. Then there is always Baltacha, Mel South and Katie O'Brien... every year we heard about them at Wimbledon...

dandannieldanok Posted 22 September 2008 Posted 22 September 2008 I had the misfortune of watching it all, started really brightly but faded terribly, will never make it into the top 100.
Milky Posted 22 September 2008 Posted 22 September 2008 Yep, can't even make it into the top 100 in the world. What a joke. If he can make a career out of tennis, all the best to him i say.

But can he really make a career out of constantly losing, he's never made it past the first round at a grand slam.
Milky Posted 22 September 2008 Posted 22 September 2008 But can he really make a career out of constantly losing, he's never made it past the first round at a grand slam. Yes he can, cus we're so shit behind Murray! It's not his fault he's our number 2 player.
Phube Posted 22 September 2008 Posted 22 September 2008 But can he really make a career out of constantly losing, he's never made it past the first round at a grand slam. Lesser player make thier monay in the smaller tournament around the world... even crap players can make decent money!
dandannieldanok Posted 22 September 2008 Posted 22 September 2008 Yes he can, cus we're so shit behind Murray! It's not his fault he's our number 2 player. But it's his fault that he produced a gutless display bar the 1st set of a match against someone lower ranked than him. I'm not saying he should have definitely won the game but after the first set it was so easy for Peya because Bogdanovic rolled over for him, it must have been quite embarrassing for him.
