Is a hat-trick like a hole in one at golf where you have to buy drinks all round?

Big congratulations to the team, to the scorers and most of all to hat-trick man Bert.

Player rating of 10 or what?

it was a good game in the first half then bert single handedly changed the game

Disagree, I thought that your lot lost their shape completely in the second half and thats not something you can afford to do around the likes of Bert, JME, Wilkesy etc etc etc etc etc - they mullered you.

Thought you were top notch by the way.

If I'd have been up and about earlier I might have turned up but the Academy came a calling with their 11.30 KO.

Well done to all involved especially Bert for his MOM and organisation skills.

Well done to everyone that took part, whether it was watching or playing, this event wouldn't have been a success without the support of each and every single one of you.

I'd like to give a big shout out to Hullfox who was not only immense, but what great dedication and commitment to come down from Hull for an 11:00am kick off.

Both teams were solid and if they both had 90 minutes i have no doubt both would've came out victorious.

Everyone in the first half did well, we had a solid centre-back pairing with two fullbacks who were able in attack and defence. We had a deep sitting centre midfield but they won the ball well and played it to the wingers and/or the strikers (who both had excellent halves) which caused their defence a lot of problems.

It was a joy to play in the second half team, built on a solid back line who snuffed out pretty much everything, the versatility and energy of the midfield enabled, good fast attacking movements. LilDave comes out the game with big credit, unfortunate to have a goal ruled out, but he worked had, put himself about against a big back line, twisted and turned well and made openings for others.

A great turnout, a great result and a great day.

It was a nice day out at Aylestone FC, finally I've met some of you in person (apart from the ones I already knew like Tomassi, Cobbo, Lisa, Scoweh & Carl). There were actually so many new faces, I could hardly keep up with counting them. lol The game was fun, although I didn't really follow it that much as I was too busy taking pictures (which shall later be put on Facebook). Plus, Raj and his lovely missus came along and we had a nice chat altogether.

Thanks for the new shirt (Katy), for the lift (Raj), for the great day out (the weatherman) and I think it was a quality afternoon afterwards with two (more or less) entertaining footie matches being televised at the Walkabout. :appl:

Excellent.

I took about 3 pictures, then realised that; a. I couldn't be bothered and b. Other people were taking some.
