The People's Hero Posted 3 October 2008 Posted 3 October 2008 Low on ideas, inspiration, motivation and inclination. Someone else is going to have to pick up the baton and run with it today. Am having a few bottles of wine over lunch though - so this afternoon may be more 'productive' in terms of Foxestalk output. Over to you guys... More in hope that expectation. TPH of the lowlands.

How can you be low on motivation? It's Friday, which means its the weekend tomorrow!
The People's Hero Posted 3 October 2008 Author Posted 3 October 2008 How can you be low on motivation? It's Friday, which means its the weekend tomorrow! Let's just say it's been one of those weeks. In fact, the last few months haven't been great. Roll on '09.
sdb Posted 3 October 2008 Posted 3 October 2008 Let's just say it's been one of those weeks. In fact, the last few months haven't been great.Roll on '09. that's what i'm thinking atm. this year is all about saving up for traveling next year, before getting myself into a 'proper' job. so this year has been pretty tame. 2009 is gonna be a sweet year ( i hope!)
Fox You Forest Posted 3 October 2008 Posted 3 October 2008 Friday is most certainly the greatest of days. The reasons it’s great are too many to say. But with that said, I’ll try to explain Why Friday is better than a day without rain. You see on Friday, you can work with a smile. You need only work, for a little while. For the weekend is near and then you can play. Much fun to be brought by the most generous of days. And generous it is, as morning treats can attest. The cream filled donuts are definitely the best. But don’t dare forget, the bagels are good too. If there’s none in your office, that’s too bad for you. Friday isn’t all treats and happy things. There is but one obstacle the day does bring. And that, my friend, is the slowing of time. But if you can bare it, you’ll do just fine. So join with me and laugh and cheer. The work week’s end is drawing near. Join with me and praise this day. I’ve said what I’ve said, and I’ve nothing more to say. I didn't copy and paste honest.
Floating Fox Posted 3 October 2008 Posted 3 October 2008 I'm still drunk from last night. I can't even type properly!! Think it's going to be a quiet friday!
James. Posted 3 October 2008 Posted 3 October 2008 Let's just say it's been one of those weeks. In fact, the last few months haven't been great.Roll on '09. I agree completely. My girlfriend has had a shocker of year, awful. Mine hasn't been much better. 2009 needs to deliver. Hmm this thread isn't really turning into the light hearted Friday chat you were hoping for!
Tabou Posted 3 October 2008 Posted 3 October 2008 I agree completely. My girlfriend has had a shocker of year, awful. Mine hasn't been much better. 2009 needs to deliver.Hmm this thread isn't really turning into the light hearted Friday chat you were hoping for! Fear Not! Tabou is here to brighten your day. After a days absence yesterday for job interviews/whiskey/sleep, I am back, refreshed! Day has started well, got through a sales meeting without having made any profit for 2 weeks, due to lack of interest on my behalf (Hence the job seeking!). Am having to attend a family wedding (with 90% of the 'family' that I haven't spoken to in 10 years). This may be a sour point on what otehrwise promises to be a weekend of beer, sex, and Ugly Betty. (In that order). TPH, get your assss to Kettering Town, and we can drink wine together, put the world to rights, and generally not allow ourselves to be opressed by 'The Man'. Invite 'James.'. He seems like a stand up guy. TFI Friday.

Ric Flair Posted 3 October 2008 Posted 3 October 2008 I've got the Leicester Mercury coming in to see me at work this afternoon and i've decided that I shall adopt a Joe Kinnear/Don Logan approach to my interview with them. This could be amusing. I shall then expect to be out of a job by about 3pm and after hammering a litre of Grey Goose in the boozer, I shall probably soil myself. It's been one of those weeks. Retched.
Master Fox Posted 3 October 2008 Posted 3 October 2008 Ric Flair sounds like he leads a very interesting and exciting life. I wish i could be like Ric Flair.
