lildave3 Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Love those highlights, especially for their 1st goal - 'We're the left side over here'. Lloyd's goal seemed to take ALOT longer to go in at the time too.
Tubes Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Third goal celebrations - crazy. Special. Joe is one good hugger
Tilley Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Special.Joe is one good hugger I ended up on about four different rows. Hugged everyone within 5 metre radius of me.
Koke Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Love those highlights, especially for their 1st goal - 'We're the left side over here'. Lloyd's goal seemed to take ALOT longer to go in at the time too. It was bloody slow-motion. The ball was hanging in the air for ages, and time just stood still. And I agree with Jonezy - If Liam Dickinson was called Steve Howard and he played for us, that goal would have been disallowed. Thats fo' sure.
Mark Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 1st goal reminded me of the goal we let in at Fulham, looks like Martin is going the other way to where the balls gone? (difficult to see on the vid on here)
SilverFox Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Jus before There second goal you can hear were the right side What are the words to that chant. I was joining in singing it yesterday and at Orient, but had no idea what I was singing. I think I was just making the end of it up. From what I can gather it was:- "We're the right side, we're right side, we're right side of the (insert random word here)". Please help me understand what it is I am singing about

davieG Posted 5 October 2008 Author Posted 5 October 2008 We're the right side, we're the right side, we're the right side over here. Then swap right for left... I think it originated at the England / Aussie cricket matches and included Your the convicts over there Something like this although my hearings not A1 so not entirely sure http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=8peXOCEMUjE

Sounds like when Dj scored the header at Chelsea to equalise

davieG Posted 5 October 2008 Author Posted 5 October 2008 Quite possibly, although I think it was bought in from European football, not 100% sure. According to a cricket fan on Bentley's it started 15 years ago at the cricket.
Ultra Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 1st goal reminded me of the goal we let in at Fulham, looks like Martin is going the other way to where the balls gone? (difficult to see on the vid on here) That's because both goals took fairly heavy deflections. Any keeper would have been wrongfooted by those. He wasn't very convincing with their second goal, though.
The Blur Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 It's easily better than the yellow one. Possibly our best away kit over the last few years. I'm not a fan of any of the yellow ones. So nice I might buy it Dyer's goal = I wonder what he was trying to do in first place
Austin Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 Dyer's goal was as Delicious as the Yorkshire pudding wraps! We need them down at the Walkers
Ben Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 That lob from Dyer was quality Two good goals from Fryatt too
