davieG Posted 11 October 2008 Posted 11 October 2008 To think I was going to this until my son decided Oasis at Sheffield was the better option!
purpleronnie Posted 11 October 2008 Posted 11 October 2008 So the whole Lampard Gerrard thing is working out well again yeah?
davieG Posted 11 October 2008 Posted 11 October 2008 Fooking hell we've got 10 men in our own half with the ball on the half way line - does Heskey smell, has he shit himself or something
Matt Posted 11 October 2008 Posted 11 October 2008 Hmmmmm its only the first half, we still have another 45 minutes but so far this is pretty awful. I said this before the game "We'll win, but play shit, We can beat Croatia well, We can have a good performance against Croatia, but with no disrespect to Kazakhstan and Belarus we'll play shite" everyone was like "nah, nah we've turned the faith your just talking like a typical Leicester fan"...No the fact of the matter is I don't get carried away with England anymore, I've learnt unlike alot of people who get caught up in all the hype after 1 good (Very good) game, seen it time and time again. I wish I could get excited and have the passion I had a few years ago, As far as how England perform nothing has changed, it just I used to get caught up in all the hype, build up, now? Nothing.
davieG Posted 11 October 2008 Posted 11 October 2008 Deja Vu - Is Graham Taylor still the England manager?
Simi Posted 11 October 2008 Author Posted 11 October 2008 They just don't care for these type of matches.
Samilktray Posted 11 October 2008 Posted 11 October 2008 England are doing nothing to win me back from my migration to Angola.
lildave3 Posted 11 October 2008 Posted 11 October 2008 Bloody poor. Gerrard in particular. And why won't Rooney play simple balls? Get the ball down the right, let Walcott run at 'em, get a cross in and get Rooney in on the far post. Oh, and i'd rather have the England band than a silent Wembley.
Simi Posted 11 October 2008 Author Posted 11 October 2008 Oh, and i'd rather have the England band than a silent Wembley. I'm struggling to tell the difference.
Jay Posted 11 October 2008 Posted 11 October 2008 I can't stop Yawning I fear I might not make it through another 45mins of that without falling asleep!!!
Thracian Posted 11 October 2008 Posted 11 October 2008 Totally unbalanced. England could play this game 2-3-5 instead of pissing about with 4-3-3 going on 4-5-1. The whole approach is dominated by fear. Why do we have to make everything so difficult? Even our basic passing is crap because we're trying to hurry too much instead of being patient and feeling the ball. Rooney on the left is ridiculous. He's all but neutralised there anyway and has to turn back every time. As for our final ball - we always want to lift it in the air and it's diabolical anyway.
Uncle Albert Posted 11 October 2008 Posted 11 October 2008 Can anyone tell me what the significance of having Gareth Barry playing is? He has not got involved. Bring that nobend off and Beckham on the right and Walcott on the left. Whip balls in for Emile and we will definetly score. Gerrard hasnt been that bad compared to Barry. And thats not me lying.
Samilktray Posted 11 October 2008 Posted 11 October 2008 I reckon i'd go for Walcott on the left and SWP on the right.
Simi Posted 11 October 2008 Author Posted 11 October 2008 All they play is the same generic shit that's played everywhere else and hardly anyone is joining in. I've not seen a thing about this match so far that impresses me. Ring of Fire. Pigbag. England til I die. Ingerlanddddd. Rule Brittania. Welcome to England!!!!!!!!
Uncle Albert Posted 11 October 2008 Posted 11 October 2008 I reckon i'd go for Walcott on the left and SWP on the right. Anyone who can whip a ****ing ball would be good for me.

Of course he could be playing well, I cant watch it over here.
Suffolk_fox Posted 11 October 2008 Posted 11 October 2008 When will people in the media fooking learn? Just because a side is ranked somewhere between Hong Kong and Singapore, doesn't mean anyone can treat them lightly - They will always be up for the fight. I have heard so many pundits say this will be a walk over...
Tommeh Posted 11 October 2008 Posted 11 October 2008 They just don't care for these type of matches. their not alone. Was asleep 10 minutes in, woke up on ht (avoiding all pleats moronic comments ) I missed fackin' yeovil at home for this Shite!!! And now I've just seen we're down to 2nd, cock off international football. I'll watch top gear on dave, cheers then.

You can't say a word wrong about the England football team to some people I know.
Simi Posted 11 October 2008 Author Posted 11 October 2008 I'll watch top gear on dave, cheers then. Doing exactly the same, the hovercraft is vintage.
Samilktray Posted 11 October 2008 Posted 11 October 2008 I dread the thought of us going behind to these.
Samilktray Posted 11 October 2008 Posted 11 October 2008 I dread the thought of us going behind to these. And as I say that...
Matt Posted 11 October 2008 Posted 11 October 2008 That really should have been a goal for Kazakhstan then. I feel bad but kind of want England to lose Ok England is my home country, Obviously I want to support a winning side, but I really do have to question if I really care about the national side, I certainly not that bothered. Come the World Cup no doubt i'll be on the bandwagon - "Come on England" e.t.c, but I just want to see the media squirming going mad - "Crisis, Crisis, Crisis" and see some of the mad England fans I know who in their opinion England can do no wrong going crazy. Also it might be a learning curve for them...We've had god knows how many, surly it must be sinking in by now? Basically win or lose i'm not that bothered, I'm watching the game but thats only because it's football and has a slight intrest for me. England 1-0 Ferdinand.
