potter3 Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 Rather Gradel than him tbh Why? Not saying you're wrong, just why?
Halfsy Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 Rather Gradel than him tbh You can't be serious?
Leicester's 12th Man Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 Keep both imo Gradel and Dyer offer us something that we've been misising for a while, pacy and skillful winger. Don't go Lloyd
GLC Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 Dont go Lloyd, PLEASE! we cant lose another class player. WE ALL LOVE YOU!!!
syston_fox Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 Rather Gradel than him tbh Really??? Gradel hasn't exactly set the world alight so far this season and has looked distinctly average in all but a few games. Im not saying he's not got the quality because he clearly has but he's not consistant enough. Lloyd on the other hand is scoring goals (and crucial goals at that), creating chances and almost always in the top 3 in the ratings at the end of the game. Our best player so far this season!

Collymore Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 Rather Gradel than him tbh (if you mean you'd rather sell dyer than gradel) Totally agree, Gradel has 1000 x more ability than Dyer, even though Dyer has been more effective so far this season. I'd take Gradel everytime just on potential.
Daggers Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 Mandaric needs to recoup money at some point and has a history for making stupid decisions. Maybe his sale will fund some exciting benefits for season ticket holders in February?
Salieri Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 He's under contract and we don't need the money so theres absolutely no reason to sell. If it is a 2 year contract and he didnt want to renew then yes we would realistically have to listen to offers for him in the summer. This season however is all about promotion and Lloyd is one of the main reasons for our excellent start, selling him would be incomprehensible. Probably no truth in the rumour, the tabloids get a bit bored when the transfer window shut and just like to stir things up.

JakeShingler Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 Had his name printed on my shirt last week. I feared this would happen. This is why my general rule is not to have shirt printing (Of players names anyway) but Lloydy reeled me into fooking my rule off. He'd best not go! I'll start a "Don't Go Lloyd" campaign like the "Don't Go Martin" one! How much was that and were frrom?
Daggers Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 He's under contract and we don't need the money so theres absolutely no reason to sell. If you have access to Mandaric's personal accounts I'm sure we'd love to know about it. Me? Having watched the Panorama Credit Crunch Special, I'm thinking that there's a point at which all clubs would soon be willing to cash in on players. Signed him for nothing and make a quick £1.5 mil profit? Mandaric is going to have to be pretty committed to the cause to knock that back I reckon.
