poynton blue Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 Being watched by Fulham Wolves and Birmingham Who will have to pay £1.5 mil to get him According to one of the tabloids today
poynton blue Posted 15 October 2008 Author Posted 15 October 2008 He ain't going anywhere! Dont shoot the messanger
Ric Flair Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 Doesn't surprise me that teams are looking at him already. By the way how many lower level left wingers do Fulham want to buy? In the past year or so they have bought, Lee Cook, Bouzza, Seol and Julian Gray. I've probably missed a few as well.
The People's Hero Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 If they've got space for a full team, we can send them Thracian's eleven Levi Porters.
Fox You Forest Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 It's not even worth thinking about until January, Even then it's paper talk.
SussexFox Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 He's not a premier league quality player.... yet anyway
Munzie Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 When he signed for us, I did wonder why he hadn't gone for a Championship team (or possibly Premiership). Don't get me wrong, I was extremely pleased to see him become a City player. With the sucess he had in the McDons side coupled with what they had achieved (including promotion), it did seem a little strange that he signed for a team that had just been relegated to the same level as his then current employer and in dire (no pun intended) need of rebuilding. Whatever the reasons, he has definately put himself in the shop window. Let's hope he feels, come January, that he is in a side capable of bigger and better things and that he wants to play a part in our future glory. I think he has the makings of a very good premiership player. He just needs a couple more seasons under his belt first including a step up to the Championship - something we can hopefully offer him.
Lovejoy Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 He's a brummie too, so Birmingham MIGHT have an added appeal, and I wouldn't blame him for going tbh, though I' be almightily annoyed. Might just be tabloid crap though .
Ozwin Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 It'd be well unethical to steal him from us after just 6 months.
SamL Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 Please don't go Lloyd. It would be a big mistake to let him go.
Nationwider Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 No surprises there. If he can put in a full season, we should be looking at double what's been quoted. He's only on a two year deal as I recall (I stand to be corrected) so if he wants out, we'd have to sell in the summer.... and what a fantastic bit of business it would be over a 12 month period.
ousefox Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 he's not exactly a youngster so £1.5m is a more than fair amount for him
Matt Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 Had his name printed on my shirt last week. I feared this would happen. This is why my general rule is not to have shirt printing (Of players names anyway) but Lloydy reeled me into fooking my rule off. He'd best not go! I'll start a "Don't Go Lloyd" campaign like the "Don't Go Martin" one!
