JakeShingler Posted 17 October 2008 Author Posted 17 October 2008 Yes. If he would come back to the Premier League, my money would be on Manchester City to snap him up. No way would he do that to ManU?
The Stig Posted 17 October 2008 Posted 17 October 2008 No way would he do that to ManU? It depends A. How desperate he is to carry on playing for England B. How his relationship with Sir Alex really ended.
dandannieldanok Posted 17 October 2008 Posted 17 October 2008 No way would he do that to ManU? Beckham going to Man City or any other premier league team is not going to bother United and SAF, they couldn't give two shiny shites about him, he wouldn't be a danger to them if he played against them. I think they might have a little more concern about combating the treat of Robinho rather than Beckham.
Samilktray Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 Fantastic stuff. I now like Milan even more. Kaka, Ronaldinho and Beckham. Superb.
JakeShingler Posted 22 October 2008 Author Posted 22 October 2008 Fantastic stuff.I now like Milan even more. Kaka, Ronaldinho and Beckham. Superb. Yeh Same hope he does go there.
Samilktray Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 Just waiting for someone to come in here and put him down for this move now.
dandannieldanok Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 Just waiting for someone to come in here and put him down for this move now. I think it's a great move for him and he's done well to get it, but a terrible move for Milan.
Corky Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 Just waiting for someone to come in here and put him down for this move now. It's a good move for him. He'll be playing at a level the same as the other England players, so it will be a test to see if he's still good enough to play at this standard of football.
Jay Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 Just waiting for someone to come in here and put him down for this move now. Ok I will start the ball rolling... I don't think he has anything to offer as an England player anymore, he has had his time and should move on. The bloke is like a wart that wont got away for England managers, he should do the decent thing and retire he certainly will be of no use whatsoever in 2010. he must be a right pain for managers he isn't in the squad on merit these days more on a past reputation and if Capello was to drop him he would just be abused by the press and some supporters he is in the squad to appease others these days. he has had his time move over and let others have a go is what I say. so come on let the abuse begin!!!
Bryn Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 While Beckham's body still goes and he is playing he will get assists. His delivery is that good. No harm in this at all for Milan.
JakeShingler Posted 22 October 2008 Author Posted 22 October 2008 While Beckham's body still goes and he is playing he will get assists. His delivery is that good. No harm in this at all for Milan. Agreed. Not that many people in football can play a ball like him.
AyewJoking Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 Obviously Milan are more interested in all the money they're going to make out of this but Beckham will surely improve them on the pitch. Who is paying his wages?
eye666 Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 Still the best crosser of the ball in the England squad, arguably even in the world. I still like him and is worth keeping in the squad to teach Walcott, Bentley, SWP and Lennon how to cross a ball.

Raj Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 Balls to Bandwagon Beckham and his Bimbo brunnette broad! (Notice what i did then???!)
Alexikokopops Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 Balls to Bandwagon Beckham and his Bimbo brunnette broad!(Notice what i did then???!) I assume you're alluring to the alliteration you asian arsehole. Bloody immigrants
Darkzzz_ Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 I am in the opinion that he will go and do a excellent job at Milan. I have always said he is not a player who will be remembered for being a world class footballer, but something he has always had is vision. His technique is second to none at passing and this can only benefit Milan. Good luck to him.
Raj Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 I assume you're alluring to the alliteration you asian arsehole.Bloody immigrants I aint got a bloody clue what you are going on about. But i bloody love you anyway!!!
Joe. Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 I find this very odd: 1. Why do AC Milan want a player who isn't good enough anymore? 2. Surely they must be paying shit loads for his wages, even a small percentage is huge isn't it?
syston_fox Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 I find this very odd:1. Why do AC Milan want a player who isn't good enough anymore? 2. Surely they must be paying shit loads for his wages, even a small percentage is huge isn't it? Im assuming that as with all things Beckham, the shirt sales alone will cover his wages. Therefore if he makes an impact then it's good for Milan, if not, then they'll lose nothing. Good move by them in my opinion.
Joe. Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 I'm not so sure. Will this really be a good move for him? Or will it only expose his inability to play at a high level anymore, therefore ruling him out of any future England selelctions for good? Either way, I appreciate the fact he's trying to get back into the England setup and actually doing something constructive, and good luck to him I say.

But a slower paced Italian game may well suit him. More time on the ball allowing him to pick out the passes should suit him down to a tee.
lildave3 Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 But a slower paced Italian game may well suit him. More time on the ball allowing him to pick out the passes should suit him down to a tee. Yup. Only league he could have gone to.

There was a blog on the BBC about this, saying he's the only one that has anything to lose from this for that reason.
