I think they are good and nice guys but,They miss far to many chances and doing that can lose us games,If we are to go back to the champ then i think this needs to be sorted quick,Wheather that means getting better strikers that will score more than miss is the anwser or giving dj or dickov a chances,Wot do u reckon??

Simple answer is give Dickov and DJ (who will surely be back before January) a run in the team whether it be together or with Howard or Fryatt, and if they don't impress then dip into the transfer market.

When is Ashley Chambers expected back? I agree when possible something new needs to be tried out. The current pair can do fook all in successive games and still walk into the team.

I know (apart from Bazza) and I don't understand why we haven't got anyone in on loan  .

 Howard and Fryatt have done alright this season, Fryatt is in the top scorers list in the league. Howard isnt there to score hes there to flick things onto Fryatt thats the role he has been given. Fryatt has had a few rubbish games just latly i agree. It is up to the manager to get his confidence back up, and get him back on the score sheet.

Typical City fans getting impatiant and going on about new palyers needing to be bought in just because of a 2-3 lousy games. We are going to have abad spell, this is it. Did you seriously expect us to follow the high standards we set at the begining of the season, all season?

Patiance people. The goals will start coming again. Training ground exercises this week will be on finsihing, i garuntee that. i bet within a week or so Fryatt will be back on the score sheet, and everyone will love him once again.

Hang on a minute, Howard has been here 10 months and Fryatt over 2 seasons. Both of them have produced more crap performances than good in those respective time periods, so my patience is running thin. If you look at their LCFC careers as a whole, both have been major disappointments.

REWIND I'm talking about this season. FORGET last season the whole team was a bloody shambles. This season is what matters. lets not start refering to the past that has been the problem with this club for so long. We have been so obsessed with the rubbish we saw the season before that we get nowhere in the current season.

Pearson has told the team they have a fresh start this year and thismpolicy has worked. So we should assess the team on there performances since this so called fresh start.

This season Howard and Fryatt have both had there fair share of top class performances. Ok sao they have lost a bit of momentum. All players do in a season. Rooney lost his momentum at some point last season... Did Man U fans call for his head? No. going on a lower level Keogh had an off spell for Wolves last season was he dropped? No. You have to stick with your strikers esepcially when they are still creating chances!

Howard and Fryatt as a partnership is destined to fail if we carry on the way we are.

Fryatt does not have the inteligence nor the pace to react to Howard's flick ons effectivley. If you watch Howard, the amount of headers he wins is unreal. Yes I understand at times he looks lazy, perhaps because people saw Iain Hume running around and jumping for anything within 20 yards of him. Howard is not going to do that. Time after time yesterday Howard won the first ball but nobody was picking up the second ball, whether it was because Fryatt was to slow or the midfield was to deep, we were still losing the ball.

Fryatt showed yesterday he struggles when it comes to link up play and bringing others into the game and without the pace to get in behind defenders it really does tighten up the options as to what the midfield can give him.

Hopefully they can come good together, but at the moment we just seem to get individual performances from each striker.

what leicester need is a big strong striker with pace to burn. I'm thinking in the mold of Ismail Miller at West Brom. Someone like him and Fryatt would be an ace strikerforce.

At the same time though at the begining of the season they linked up well(This is where you negative people say no it didnt...we were just lucky or something) Everyone was shouting about the Howard and Fryatt partnership even the people who are normaly slating them. We have some work to do i agree. I do think that the two can work together well. Just a bad patch atm. It will pass.

a strikeforce with no pace can't work together. i thinking dj and Howard should play together when he's back until January and see what happens.

^^^^^^^^^^^^ i refer you to my above post. I also ask you why we were scoring every game? why Fryatt got player of the month? and why Fryatt is in the top scorers list of this league? If the partnership doesnt work :dunno:

"You negative people"?

I'm simply talking about the partership not really working at the moment, I can't really remember anyone raving about the partnership either, must've missed that one. However I do remember individual performances, especially Fryatt's being praised, which is what I mentioned.

If Fryatt is not scoring, then he contributes nothing to the team and becomes a liability. He can't head, he can't shoot, he's slow as ****. And if that was bad enough, he's a greedy bastard.

Which is why he was scoring so many........Im not gonna sift through the forum but i certiainly remember people saying that the two upfront seemed to be working well together.

Fryatt will start scoring again soon, and Howard will start putting his chances away. You will see.

I think your missing the point here, it's no good having a striker with pace as Fryatt would not be able to keep up with him.

Foxhateram needs to remove his rose tinted specs and take a good long hard look at Fryatt during the next couple of games (if he plays).

He's slow, selfish, lacks power in his shots, can't head the ball.

He's only scored 3 decent goals this season, the others have been simple tap ins and a couple of penalties.

Any half decent striker could have acheived the same.

Let's get Dickov fit and put him up front.

He may not have the pace, but he is a proven goalscorer.

This is what we need.

I actually agree. I do think he'll start scoring again. I was the one who bet my left testicle that he'd get 20 goals this season. I still stand by that.

But let's not kid ourself. The lad is a poor mans Andy Cole - At least Cole had pace and a bit of strength. Fryatt got f-all.

That's all been said in previous seasons but it didn't happen. With wingers getting loads more crosses in this season our strikers should be causing mayhem but they're not.

Times the ball's flashing across or around the six yard box and there's no-one challenging. Even when there is a challenge like when Dyer or gradel dinked a fast pass in from the right, Fryatt was taken by surprise and let a really good chance canon wide off his leg. Yes it did come sharp but it's symptomatic of the problems.

I think King got in or around the six-yard box more than Fryatt yesterday.

Fryatt would surely be flattered to be mentioned in the same breath as Andy Cole. I can think of a similarity. They've both got the same number of letters in the shortened version of their first name. But that's about it.

My goodness, a pair of midgets up front is a no no meert.

I personally think Howard if fully fit has to play, or we lose so much of our forward game...you can look at changing the other striker if Fryatt comeso ff form but we aren't half making a mountain our of a mole hill. Fryatt's been bamming them in and I'm sure he will again. Not everyone is going to have a good game every week, sadly.

I think Leicester need to sign me.

Indeed.

But as they're not going to, do you fancy signing for Fosse?

:D

TBH, people are having a go at Steve Howard but honestly tell me who can we buy as a targetman who is affordable and would come to us and could do a better job than Steve!
