isaidno Posted 5 August 2009 Posted 5 August 2009 Schumacher doesn't need to test the car. If 19 year old Alguiseri can drive a F1 car with no testing I'm sure Schumacher can cope. He gets 3 hours of practice at Valencia anyway with unlimited laps.
Asha Posted 5 August 2009 Posted 5 August 2009 Schumacher doesn't need to test the car. If 19 year old Alguiseri can drive a F1 car with no testing I'm sure Schumacher can cope. He gets 3 hours of practice at Valencia anyway with unlimited laps. But Alguersuari isn't 40. Schumacher's the oldest out the drivers and has been out of F1 for a couple of years now.
Hitesh Posted 5 August 2009 Posted 5 August 2009 He may not even race yet! Apparently his fitness isn't quite up there as he has issues with his neck.
Brainy Posted 5 August 2009 Posted 5 August 2009 Ferrari My soft spot for Williams is growing. Surprised Toro Rosso went against them too. Don't Ferrari supply them engines? They did last year anyway
Legend_in_blue Posted 6 August 2009 Posted 6 August 2009 So Schumacer hasn't even run his first race and is already trying to cheat by getting extra practice before the race; and then Ferrari winge when Williams don't let them. What a bunch of bellends. This is going to be excrutiating, at least back in the day there was the slim hope Couthard might batter the kraut if he stepped out of line, I can't see Hamilton stepping into that role anytime soon. Other way round. Spa, Belgium, in the wet? Schumacher will do better than Raikonnen in the Ferrari. He will show why he is so good and what F1 has been missing since he left. The passion, the controversy, the attitude... it's all gone. But it's back now! The cat is well and truly amongst the pigeons.
Sparky Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Breaking news SSN Schumacher not to return after all , neck not up to it http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12433_5484295,00.html
lou Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Breaking news SSNSchumacher not to return after all , neck not up to it I predicted this! Well I said I didnt think hed be physically up to it so more or less!
Uncle Monty Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Quite disappointed that he is out, never really liked the man but it would have added something to an already eventful season. I suppose now that Coulthard should step in - i would love to see that.
isaidno Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Luca Badoer is racing for Ferrari, he's not raced in 10 years and never scored a point in Formula 1
Wycombe Fox Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Qualifying for tomorrow's European GP should be a cracker! Alonso flying and the Brawns seem to be back on the pace. I wonder who will sacrifice a long first stint for a crack at pole? My money would be on Alonso to be light on fuel with Hamilton, the Brawns and Red Bulls not too far behind.
isaidno Posted 22 August 2009 Posted 22 August 2009 Just watched the practice, Sutil was fastest . Brawn are back on the pace and Red Bull look suprisingly slow. Vettel's engine blew up and left oil everywhere. The qualifying should be more exciting than the race.
Wycombe Fox Posted 22 August 2009 Posted 22 August 2009 The Brawns are both well fuelled. Hamilton lightest on the grid. http://www.pitpass.com/fes_php/pitpass_new...es_art_id=38729
isaidno Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 Can't see anyone beating the Mclarens unless there is a safety car. The GP2 race this morning had 3.
Wycombe Fox Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 Not a bad 'damage limitation' race for Brawn so far. Barrichello winning, Button 7th, Webber 9th and Vettel out. at McLaren when Hamilton came in for a pitstop and they'd forgotton to get the tyres out!
Wycombe Fox Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 Great win for Barrichello! I've just heard the biggest load of b*ll*cks from McLaren's Mike Whitmarsh in an attempt to explain their pitstop cock-up and get Lewis (and his Dad!) off his back. Unbelievable! Apparently they lost the race on race-pace and not the cock-up! Yeah right
Brainy Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 They weren't going to win anyway.. might have been closer at the end but wouldnt have won it.
Legend_in_blue Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 Has the race finished yet? What a bore it was!
lildave3 Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 Has the race finished yet? What a bore it was! I don't know if it's just me, but there seems to be a lot of them this season.

Legend_in_blue Posted 29 August 2009 Posted 29 August 2009 Fisichella on pole. This season is now officially 'stupid'. What a joke.
