Currently been browsing for a new Digital HD camera and suddenly came across the Canon EOS 7D.

Thing is, not only can you do regular stills photography, but it also acts as a 1080p HD camcorder. And some of the shots I've seen on YouTube and Vimeo are absolutely gorgeous, even with regular Canon EF-S lenses. The depth of field is amazing and it does out-of-focus shots to die for.

Anyone else used the 7D before?

mikey t, 2 and 4 are just brilliant! surprised you got them WITHOUT endless amounts of 12 year old chavs throwing snow in the pictures, so double well done!!! :thumbup:

Haha cheers mate, there was only a few people out there. I was there fairly early. Was mainly joggers there and a few people walking their dogs. No chavs thank god. lol

We were there for a week, the lake links right up to the Ocean, so beach most days. Theres a picture of me walking out right to the middle of the lake, only getting my knees wet.

Just got me a Canon Eos 500D. Now to work out what all these funtions do....

I got one of those for Christmas and have yet to start reading the booklet.

A friend has one so I might take a crash course from him to avoid having the read anything :thumbup:
