Matt Posted 30 November 2008 Author Posted 30 November 2008 It might not be the most exciting of draws but it'll give us the chance to prove ourselves against a slightly/marginally better opponent without it being a team that are well above us, Fairly happy with that. Realistic to beat higher opposition and no banana skin.
GLC Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 i wont be going to this, i wanted forest or something
maddog Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Good draw it could have been much much worse. A home draw V Mid Table championship club, i rekon we will get to the 4th round.
syston_fox Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Pretty crap draw all round. No massive ties and as for Palace at home.... at least the ticket prices could well be kept down.
Matt Posted 30 November 2008 Author Posted 30 November 2008 i wont be going to this, i wanted forest or something Hmmmm I had to consider buying me Season Ticket in the summer. I wanted to play Man Utd or something
SamL Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Well that was a bit of a non-climax wasn't it? We have no luck what so ever when it comes to getting decent FA Cup ties.
maddog Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Its a much better draw than weve had in recent seasons, the best recently being Tottenham at home and that was years ago. For me its a great draw. We will win, get to the 4th round, then more likely to get a decent draw.
Ross-Kemp Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 I loved the Histon players reactions Was abit delayed IMO, they didn't look bothered untill they realised a camera was there
DBEightyFive Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Disappointed but oh well. There isn't really any mouth-watering ties in that draw
Matt Posted 30 November 2008 Author Posted 30 November 2008 Was abit delayed IMO, they didn't look bothered untill they realised a camera was there Or maybe there was a delay in the pictures?
maddog Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 meh! What is that foxestalk death list thing ive just cliked it You aint gonna be spying on my computer now are u
Maybes Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Un-interesting draw all round really. Only stand out tie is Man C vs Forest.
marbelladave Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Realistic chance of putting one over on Colin, never a bad thing! But not that great either. Should have left it at 2-2 yesterday so we could see if it would be worth winning the replay.
Fosse Boy Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Good draw it could have been much much worse.A home draw V Mid Table championship club, i rekon we will get to the 4th round. Yeah, I think it's OK. Probably helps that I know a few Palace fans though. Palace away if we draw. Always a plus. Un-interesting draw all round really. Only stand out tie is Man C vs Forest. Birmingham v Wolves is the only other tie which I thought was vaguely interesting.
Pegosteve Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Let's be positive a great opportunity for us to see how the current team is progressing and if it is up to doing well should we get promotion. Also gives us a great chance of getting to round 4 and also getting one over on Warnock!
Tommeh Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 This will be a fantastic draw IF we draw, palace away on a Tuesday night. Willing. Other than that its very uninspiring but a chance at getting to the 4th round.
clazkel Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Not a great draw, but at least Warnock will get some stick
