Anyone here play guitar?

I've been playing for a few years, wondered if any of you guys play a guitar, or any musical instrument?

Bought myself a nice Ibanez Electro Acoustic earlier this year with a marshall acoustic amp.... hoping to get a pedal for christmas so I can get a blues effect going.... I'll try to get a photo up at some point...

Not amazing at guitar by any stretch of the imagination, I have never had any lessons.

I just learnt RHCP 'Californication' and Blur 'Coffee & TV'

I wish I could play drums though, and make a LOT of noise... :chant:

I love playing guitar, I wish I was better than I am, although I'm a lot better than I ever dreamed of being when I started, coming as I do from the least musical family EVER.

I bought a bass guitar the other day, pretty much as an impulse buy. What credit crunch?

I used to be quite good, then didn't play for a year. I was shocked at how bad I'd become when I picked up a guitar again a few weeks ago.

My fingers are now soft like child's fingers, yet slow and clumsy like a mixture of an old man and a rhino. And I don't think rhinoceriiii even have fingers.

I would love to learn how to play the guitar, I have dabbled but lost interest.

I will have to learn though as I would love to play, seem so hard though.

yes it is hard, and if you really want to learn there is no room for losing interest - day in, day out - it's the only way...

Such angry neighbours!

nah, strictly rehearsal rooms - except when we lived in wood green, but then our neighbours there were featured on BBC's 'Life of Grime', so.....

I don't play the guitar, I live it.

And piano too.

But I'm shit at that.

I really, really want a bass.

You're not cool enough to play bass.

Or guitar, come to think of it.

Or even piano.

Lemarboy! Bwaaaaaaaaark!

Ditto. I go through the same thing every year, play for a couple of hours till my fingers are sore then put it down for a year..... hardly progression!

I have a guitar and have been trying to play it for about 3 years, but I just can't get it, unless the guitar only has one string!

Drums though... I'd love to try and play, I've had a few goes at school and apparently I'm not bad, just my parents won't let me have a drum kit <_<
