You'll enjoy it, they were good on Friday.

FFaF tomorrow :D

Bit worried about all the fan girls, but hey, I can try and chat them up :P

I wanna go FFAF on the 14th, but im seeing All American Rejects that night, so next best place I can see them is Hatfield the next night, but I cant go unless someone else comes with <_<

here is phone pic from the camera obscura gig... absolutely wonderful venue, a nice incline right to the stage...

400 capacity, sold out, great stuff

Was Magic Arm supporting them again? Did a lovely version of "Daft punk playing in my house"

The first half of Massive Attacks set was pretty hmmmm few to many new songs to start with but the second half was blinding especially the stuff from Mezzanine Teardrop (with Martina) Angel with the brilliant Horace Andy, Inertia creeps, rising sun and so on

I enjoyed the whole set. Best I have seen them perform.

Their light show has come along way from a black light and floro paint too.

I'm well into Camera Obscura at the moment. Nice to see them playing a gig where you can actually see them, unlike the one at The Musician last weekend

yes, but he was so boring he could have sung 'i'm a little teapot' and i wouldn't have noticed

just the right size venue, intimate yet enough room for them to perform...

i have to say, as much as i like the band, and at their best they are wonderful, at times they were a bit dull, some of the songs were a bit bland and her voice..., so hit and miss, but i'd watch them again, for sure.

You could always buy a spare ticket and give it to one of your paper bag jobs who you've only met over MSN?

I thought they were as dull as ditchwater for years, but then something clicked and I find them enchanting now. One man's hypnotic can be another man's boring, I'm sure you'd agree

yes, although i fear they peaked (and really peaked) on 'hey, lloyd', i've not really got into the latest album, and live i was just dissappointed that there was so little banter, tho they were very polite and punctual...

but don't get me wrong, 70% of the set was beautiful and thrilling...

I think she's probably quite shy and dysfunctional. I sat next to the bass player at a wedding once, and although he's a charming gentleman, he's not exactly full of himself.

That's these indie wallflower types for you.

Last album is very good, I think, not that much different to 'Let's Get Out of This Country'. Probably a bit more upbeat, overall

For Motorhead, take ear plugs, I'm not even joking they are the loudest thing I've ever heard in my life. It borders painful, you cannot comprehend how loud they are until you are there.

Slayer are technically good on stage but the interactions with the audience vary from show to show.

UK Subs are good, I saw them in Germany, good fun!

Gonna buy tickets tomorrow for the Kerrang Tour in Jan/Feb- All Time Low, The Blackout, Young Guns, My Passion.

Also decided to get Lostprophets tickets cos The Blackout and Kids In Glass Houses are supporting :D

Edit: **** going to Lostprophets/TBO, its £40 for a ticket, bloody rip off

Met Westwood last night. His nugget of wisdom for me 'Strap it up before you slap it up' then he gave me a CD and a johnny. Lovely old fella.

The thought of Westwood is enough to put me off having any kind of sex to be honest lol:sick:
