Master Fox Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 We got ours in the home bit, cos i knew there wouldnt be a chance of getting one for the away end. http://www.mkdons.com/page/ForthcomingGames/0,,10420,00.html
1884 Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Maybe some good news for people who sent an E-mail? Ticket office just rang me up and put 2 tickets by for me because of my email (Emailed them today 18th Feb at 10.54). Women said they were putting tickets by for people who emailed. Good luck people! BTW had to pay £18.60 per ticket.
Tilley Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Cheers dude. Phone playing up, canny text you back. Hope they've put me aside some tickets.

Guest Bilo Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 One of the lucky few. Row D, Aisle 32. Right behind the goal.

lcfcadam Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Absolute joke! Okay I'm only priority 3, but my email was greeted by an autoreply saying there'll be no further allocation and they're all sold out. How can 3,506 tickets sell out to only season ticket holders? (answer: they wouldn't, if the ticket office only sold one ticket to each holder). Also a load of cr@p is that the Dons won't send any further tickets! I don't know whether to believe that or not to be honest - still hoping it's just a temporary way to get some work off the ticket office's back for today. Anyone else who wanted a ticket but hasn't got one? We should be bloody demanding a further allocation!

Guest Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 How can 3,506 tickets sell out to only season ticket holders? (answer: they wouldn't, if the ticket office only sold one ticket to each holder). There are over 10,000 season ticket holders.
davieG Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 There are over 10,000 season ticket holders. I would imagine a very high proportion of them never go to away games and it's hard to believe that there are 2000+ priority 1s and 2s based on last season's away attendances.

I doubt I'll be successful.

He wasn't clear on the distinction between STHs and those with priority. I was just being pedantic. As easy as it is to blame the ticket office for this, the fans who have asked for favours for this game, if this is why we have sold out so quickly, ought to take some responsibility for situations like this. This isn't the first time that something like this has happened this season, and this is something that some posters were worried would happen even before we were relegated.

I wasn't specifically blaming the ticket office as it seems like it could be easy to fake the priority cards. I do have issues with them having bought tickets by email and then found they have no record of the purchase even though they have taken my name, address, telephone number, card details and ST ref number off me when I've purchased the ticket. Having no longer retained my ticket stub I've lost the opportunity to raise my priority level.

Craig Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Why do they have to publicise this, in this way
Simi Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Do not envy people attempting to get hold of them, especially the people that can't get to the ticket office 'cos I reckon the phones will be a shambles. Hope the day trippers will enjoy the comfy leather seats and then **** off.
Corky Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 I wonder if it will be like this for Peterborough?
Guest Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 I wonder if it will be like this for Peterborough? More than likely.
1884 Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 I wonder if it will be like this for Peterborough? Hopefully not! The old biddies won't want to stand AND it's an early kick off

Corky Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 More than likely. Yep. Can't see it being the same for Millwall somehow. Hopefully not! The old biddies won't want to stand AND it's an early kick off Hopefully they'll take the seats, leaving the rest for us to stand on the terrace.
