C-man Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 Very sad news. I can't imagine what her family must be thinking. My thoughts are with them.
Dr The Singh Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 The good die young. So true!!! RIP Rachel!!!

Matt Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 Wow, totally missed this thread, only knew something had happened when I read the thread in General Sport (Boothroyd thread) about the Watford fan. RIP. Never met her, but do remember her posting. RIP.
MC Prussian Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 Heard about this by accident via Facebook. I'm still shocked. I didn't know about her condition and everytime we met in Leicester during the few times I was there, she was always very kind. Just like Janx - a dear fellow LCFC fan who will sadly be missed. I feel a little bit depressed and low when I think of Rachel these days - after all, she was always looking forward to seeing me in Leicester again and she was so hooked on going back to California ever since she saw the pictures I posted on Facebook. Not good. Alex not happy. My sympathies and condolences to her and Paul's family.
GLC Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 My sympathies goes to all her family and friends R.I.P. Rachel
Benji Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 Really sad news, I guess on the plus side she lived to have the wedding she always talked about as a lasting memory but I can't begin to imagine what her husband is going through. Sometimes you meet people and hear stories that really make you question faith. Thoughts with her family. RIP Rachel

Katy Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 True and it is really poignant to see her wedding photos on her Facebook page.http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?...iendID=42538235 Well that's made me sad again, she last logged in on the 4th of Jan and her mood was happy. At least she died whilst she was in a good place, if that's any consolation at all.
haraven Posted 6 June 2009 Posted 6 June 2009 I wasn't aware of Rachel's passing, makes me really sad. I met her once while I was over in Leicester for a Leicester City - Millwall match back in 2004 or 2005. A very friendly, warm and welcoming girl -like so many others on here have posted, she was a real good hearted person. Rest in peace, Rachel.
Finnegan Posted 6 June 2009 Posted 6 June 2009 As with Janx, I never knew her. Long before my time here. But my thoughts are with all of you that knew her and will miss her and of course her family. Tragic, really.
