maddog Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Thought id give you plenty of time to get your votes in. This is the fooking opometer, a poll to create a large amount of optimism for the game, it only takes 2 clicks to vote you miserable bastards. Leyton Orient are in the relegation zone, only have 2 points from their previous 9 games. We are on our longest unbeaten run in the last decade i rekon unless someone can come up with a longer one, im sure someone will i can't be arsed to check. Anyway get those votes in, anyone who doesn't vote in the Opometer isn't a real Leicester fan you know. I think this will be an easy win, id be tempted to start Fryatt on the bench assuming hes back at all, and give Dickov the start. TBH if i was Nige id rest Fryatt for the cup match, i don't want to sound like a twat like i normally do, but the win V Leyton Orient is in the bag before kick off Get those votes in you swines, 2 clicks.
dandannieldanok Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Win, almost guaranteed if Fryatt plays because he can create chances for himself. However they ran us close at their place so I wouldn't say anymore than 1 or 2-0.
C-man Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Why are you so bothered about people voting? We better win, I've got an Orient fan from uni coming for the game and the weekend. If we lose, I might have to change course...
clazkel Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 I'm going for a 3-0 win if the mighty Fryatt plays and is fully fit, if he doesn't play i think a 1-1 draw
carterfox90 Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 2-0 they are'nt up to much this season be surprised if we struggle against these
Tilley Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 Win. On a side note, how good was Leyton Orient away.
StanSP Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 Should be a comfortable win. although I did say that pre Brighton and Swindon. And I said it would be tight against Peterborough. Ah well, don't think i'm wrong with this game. I'll go for 4-0
Corky Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 Win.On a side note, how good was Leyton Orient away. Fantastic. I think it'll be a comfortable home win.
Fosse Boy Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 We should be fine as long as we can keep Super Jason Demetriou at bay, provided he hasn't signed for a Premier League team by Saturday that is!
harpendenfox Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 I've hired a box to celebrate my Dad's 85th birthday along with my 12 year old son. We reckon we've seen somewhere between 600 and 800 City games between the three of us over the last 70 years. Will our beloved City let us down on our special day..........?! 0-1 written all over it

Hopefully a good 5-0 (i've put a few quid on that for the last 4 or 5 games... COME ON - bout shit myself at peterborough)
Thracian Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 We've been looking fairly formidable at home and scoring goals for fun. One or two fringe players got some action in the cup match and others got a welcome rest. I cannot see why we'd be anything but focused. Assuming we don't go getting all negative when we get in front I'd expect a two goal difference. Looking forward to it - and a decent warm up in the Swan!
maddog Posted 7 January 2009 Author Posted 7 January 2009 55 votes for win its looking optimistic. I just hope its not freeeezing cold again.
Munzie Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 Let's hope it is as entertaining as it was in their back yard. Another scoreline of 3-1 to us would be most welcome.
BoneDog Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 3-1 (own goal) And we'll be promoted by March 31st
Daggers Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 I'm concerned. It's not that I don't think we'll win...it's just that I'm getting to the stage where I expect to win every match. Which is bloody stupid.

Which is bloody stupid. I know what you mean...the bubble's got to burst etc. We're on a roll, enjoy it while it lasts. That said, watch for all the Mr Angry's coming out of the woodwork when we do pick up no points at the final whistle. 'Howard out' and 'Pearson's a donkey' they will cry.
maddog Posted 9 January 2009 Author Posted 9 January 2009 1 day to go. Come on people, 100 votes for win will be superb. Although daggers post is true, we will lose a few games eventually.
MC Prussian Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 Yes, we'll probably lose a few games in the second half of the season. But not against Leyton Orient...
