OriginalRobboFOX Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 I wouldn't advise parking at the Odeon any more, they seem to have employed someone to go around spotting people who park and don't use the cinema. This is true, its only a geez at the entrance who stops you and says, 'you're not going football are you?' to which I always reply, 'nope, just a beer in the pub pal' and then you leave your car right near the exit so you can beat the queues after the game
Tilley Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Ah, the 'away fan in peace.' Why do they all say that?
Tommeh Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 My thoughts exactly...BANTER!!!Big day out boys. I'm actually really looking forward to this one now. L1 do love big away following, lets hope they hack the banter better than Posh.

I think we will mate it makes for a good atmosphere with a good bit of banter , we have sold our allocation of 3325 tickets so should be a cracking atmosphere , good luck for season after tomorrow of course .
Maybes Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 I'm actually really looking forward to this one now. L1 do love big away following, lets hope they hack the banter better than Posh. After all the hype from the POSH fans about how they could sell 7k tickets, the 3k of them that came were awful.
Corky Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 After all the hype from the POSH fans about how they could sell 7k tickets, the 3k of them that came were awful. I hope we have another "celebration when the ball hits the side-netting" tomorrow. Cracking stuff
Acetripper Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 I hope we have another "celebration when the ball hits the side-netting" tomorrow. Cracking stuff Make sure you bring your earplugs Foxes! We are the loudest fans in England when we get together way from home in reasonable numbers. I think it's to do with the Galpharm safety muppets handing our best acoustic stand to away fans every time they bring more than 500. Gonna be loud tomorrow! I guarantee It! AceT (HTFC)

Though that's quite a statement to make. Yanited fans on the road take some beating. Ah, the 'away fan in peace.'Why do they all say that? Maybe because people on here tend to shoot down oppo fans if they don't .
Daggers Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 God i hope you are right! Would be nice to see some opposition fans singing for a change, would be a change! I am bored of League 1 When one is bored of League 1, one is bored of life.
Kilworthfox Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 When one is bored of League 1, one is bored of life. But how best to end it all? that is the question, I ponder more and more each day! There is nothing now only darkness & dust as my league 1 interest fades
Acetripper Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 All joking apart! I hope it's a good game and we thrash the arse off you tomorrow! In fact, I thought you got way with blue murder at our place. Two fortunate goals to take a 0-2 lead, then you crumbled under pressure. Back at 2--2, when we showed the concentration of our goldfish at the back, to let you score a lucky late winner. We won't do that tomorrow! We're sharper, brighter and we play passing football these days and our fans are absolutely bursting to show the rest of League One that a new dawn is breaking over our club. I genuinely feel we're a massive threat, not just to you Leicester City but to the whole of League One. God I need a another drink! AceT (HTFC)

I wouldn't call a quality finish by Fryatt and a blatant hand ball resulting in a penalty two 'fortunate' goals.

In the course of the game they were fortunate! We're you there? However, that's all water under the proverbial bridge, it's tomorrow that counts! Are you ready sunshine, are you ready? AceT

AceT (HTFC) What happened to your support in the playoff Final against Mansfield? Outsung by the 16,000 Yellows that day. Bad acoustics
Acetripper Posted 24 January 2009 Posted 24 January 2009 What happened to your support in the playoff Final against Mansfield? Outsung by the 16,000 Yellows that day. Bad acoustics I don't think so mate! Those scabs only had about 12,000 there in any case and we out numbered them by at least 2 to 1. It was the Fourth Division Play-Off we're talking here, after all! From what I remember it was an exhausting game, absolutely red-hot inside the Stadium and no goals scored even after extra time. Not exactly conducive to singing your head off, maybe we were a bit quite that day but so what? We won't be today buddy! I guarantee it! AceT
