Tilley Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Walk up the side Is it easy access? If so, I'll cancel overtime at work & get on that hill.
CosbehFox Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Anyone, in particular Fez, know how to get to hill etc? You just walk up to it, it's in the complex hence rather shallow/ Slipped it down as a 10 year old when watching Northampton play Halifax. One of the greatest games I've ever seen - 4-3 to Halifax - last minute and the Cobblers fans were considering no promotion. Month and half later they were promoted from the Third Division.

How much of pitch can you see?
CosbehFox Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 How much of pitch can you see? 40% I'd guess - long time since I went. Pre-match I slipped though
Daggers Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 How much of pitch can you see? Then there's always the other goal if it gets packed!
CosbehFox Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009  Perfect second half viewing. How about 20 of the ticketless get together and hire out a cherrypicker for the day. Make sure you're on first and you'll have ninety minute action through bino's.

CosbehFox Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Have you not got a ticket then mate? I have been informed I have thanks to a P1 who can't make it but until Saturday and finally have it in my hands I won't believe it. Strike of luck I suppose - just the same strike of luck which denied me going Oldham.
Daggers Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009  It's not their fault - they were forced out of The County Ground.
AoWW Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Anyone up for hiring a hot air balloon / helicopter?
Corky Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Anyone up for hiring a hot air balloon / helicopter? Scared of heights dear
Tommeh Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Probably be more atmosphere on the hill I'll give you that.

CosbehFox Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 There's a McDonalds too on the complex. Be buzzing in there.
Maybes Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Probably be more atmosphere on the hill I'll give you that. Right'o Tom.
Sods Posted 22 January 2009 Posted 22 January 2009 So freeking up for this. Atmosphere, yeah will be shite. But im not worried about that at all. Im just wanting three points, a dicking to the cobblers. Fez will tell you what its all about. I wouldnt miss this for the world.
Raj Posted 22 January 2009 Posted 22 January 2009 Can you really watch the game from a hill? You cant watch it from Fez's bedroom as ive been in it./...its too far away from the ground. Nice duvet cover he has though!!!
Thracian Posted 22 January 2009 Posted 22 January 2009 Tickets sold out Northampton end I'm told too. This is getting serious!
Thracian Posted 22 January 2009 Posted 22 January 2009 Eighty companies and other contacts all over Northamptonshire are now on the lookout .... we'll find some sodding tickets. Why can't Northampton build a proper ground and why can't people buy full season tickets to cover away games as well! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
ScubaBlue Posted 22 January 2009 Posted 22 January 2009 Me and my away day buddy are definitely going to be found to the HILL! Hopefully they'll be a few of us there on the day and make an atmosphere of our own. See you on the 31st ppl.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Of course they were turned down planning permmision by the council recently.
kylestyle06 Posted 22 January 2009 Posted 22 January 2009 You will not be allowed to watch it on the hill, the police will move you on
Thracian Posted 22 January 2009 Posted 22 January 2009 Of course they were turned down planning permmision by the council recently. Sodding councillors. Dedicated to spoiling everyone's fun half of them. I'd bring back public hangings in the market place to deal with some. It would even drag people into town and boost business for the traders as a bonus! Only Ultra would be safe! PS: Hangings cancelled! Three cheers to Margaret. The all-companies alert seems to have worked already. She's been at the administrative helm of my lad's firm from day one and is the darling of all PA's, I can promise you. And three cheers to my lad too. What MD would give his PA "whatever time it takes" to find football tickets for his old dad?
