Uncle Albert Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 Exactly Tevez - Fulham quality outfit but joins Hull in a relegation battle. Plonker.
Milky Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 ....but he gets a 4 1/2 year contract on a decent wage. It's all about the contract length
lookwhaticando Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 Four and a half is a good length. My girlfriend disagrees. Bitch. Anyways, today, I salute him for leaving Fulham.
Cobbo Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 Gone to a bigger club. But he could have done a lot bigger & better. Great signing from Hull's point of view though. He really makes sides tick. Flham will need a replacement, they will struggle without him as he was the heartbeat of everything they did.
Number 6 Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 Thought he was more than capable of playing at a higher club than Fulham, has moved down in my estimation.

Fulham have been steadily improving for about 12 years now, I'd say they are bigger than Hull.
poynton blue Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 Used to like the bloke, thought he was genuine. When he broke his leg and Fulham stood by him, he said he would repay Fulham for keeping faith in him another lying , disloyal twat
JakeShingler Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 Exactly Tevez - Fulham quality outfit but joins Hull in a relegation battle. Plonker. Used to like the bloke, thought he was genuine. When he broke his leg and Fulham stood by him, he said he would repay Fulham for keeping faith in him another lying , disloyal twat I thought Fulham din't want him. Hence why they put tjat low price tag on him.
Corky Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 I thought Fulham din't want him. Hence why they put tjat low price tag on him. No, Fulham wanted him but he wanted to go, and £5 million is hardly a low price tag (look at Akinbiyi).
Fox You Forest Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 No, Fulham wanted him but he wanted to go, and £5 million is hardly a low price tag (look at Akinbiyi). Compared to the prices of some players in this window it's low.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 Fulham are bigger than Hull, surely? Hodgson has done a graet job there, one of the under rated managers, like Steve Bruce. Neither get as much credit as they deserve.

MC Prussian Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 Maybe Hull could be selling some of their current midfielders before the window closes? Should they hold on to them, then Bullard will definitely give them more (attacking) options and establish better rotation in midfield, so others are less plagued by fatigue. I'd say Hull have gotten the better end out of this deal. As somebody else has already pointed out, Bullard has been Fulham's heartbeat this season and I wonder who'll they bring in as a replacement. They'd be foolish not to do so. Otherwise, I can see relegation looming above Craven Cottage.
lildave3 Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 Fulham have got a good price for him, and Hull have got a cracking player. Pretty good deal for both clubs really. Interested to see who Fulham bring in, Dickson Etuhu certainly isn't as good as Bullard.
Lovejoy Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 £5mil for a 30 year old might sound a lot for a club like City Hull, but if makes enough impact to keep them in the division, then they'll be making a hell of a lot more than £5mil back.
Cobbo Posted 24 January 2009 Posted 24 January 2009 Really? Fulham have been steadily improving for about 12 years now, I'd say they are bigger than Hull. They have been more successful recently, but they're not as big. Hull have a good stadium and big following - the potential to be more successful than Fulham. They are a bigger club. City are bigger clubs than Fulham, Blackburn, Bolton, Wigan etc - they have been a tad more successful than us of late but it does not make them bigger clubs.
Hullfox Posted 24 January 2009 Posted 24 January 2009 The arrival of Premier League footie to Hull has as you would expect seen the demographics of the squad change dramatically. They released three more youngsters this week who had spent 6 years or more at the club. Whilst promotion has been great for the City and the club, it has brought it's casualties and ended the dreams of young hopefuls.
