For 1-2-many communication or speedy updates to your Facebook it's got a niche. Following randoms on there is pointless - the OMG, MJ is dead :'( lobotomised masses proclaiming how sad/bored/horny they are is frighteningly awful.

I set an account up a awhile back but have never actually used it in all honesty. I'll have another gander, I'm intrigued to find out now if I'm being stalked by any randoms! If anyone wants to follow my mundane tweeting then it's the same username I have here. You didn't hold out very long there, mate, before becoming a classic twitterwhore. Only just spotted this thread. Never really got facebook and the like, but twitter is perfect - a combination of dead useful work-related news, LCFC and music updates only about acts I actually give a shit about, and I don't have to pay any attention to any celebrities. It's like a newspaper with all the crap ripped out of it, or a news website pre-searched for stuff that I might actually give a shit about.
