Guest Bilo Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 If this is it, im a fan. Something a bit different. Hmmm, not keen. It may grow on me though.
ousefox Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 Sorry but that looks discusting. It can't be the new shirt, can it?
Finchy Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 Isn't it apparently costing like £50 because it's made of expensive materials? I'm paying that much for it, but it is really nice.
Finnegan Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 Haven't you only just had a new shirt? And that looks very poorly made, presumably only a prototype if true?
Joe. Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 Probably not the real thing, but I'm not a fan of that at all...
Ashley Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 I like, it'd be better if the Umbro badge was on the right tho.
Fosse Boy Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 Nope, yuck. That's horrific. Give me a nice simple shirt with a nice simple Three Lions crest (without the word ENGLAND above it too) and a nice simple trim any day. It's times like this that I wish I had a second nationality so I didn't have to support England internationally.

Thats the daftest thing I've ever heard.
Bert Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 What? People buying and wearing shirts to games? Madness.
Uncle Albert Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 I will be buying. I may wait till its in Sports World for a fiver but I will be buying.
Fosse Boy Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 You dont like the shirt so you wish you didnt have to support England?Thats the daftest thing I've ever heard. It's only a throwaway comment but there is an element of truth in it. There are other factors to take in to account such as the fact that we have prima donnas pulling on the jersey and blatantly not caring for it the same way that they do for their club's jersey (and pay packet). It's a real shame but to be honest I'm not really all that bothered about how England do at the moment, and I can't quite put my finger on why I don't care.
Libertine Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 It would be better if the lining on the neck was navy instead of red. Too much red.

I'd just like to keep this thread on topic for once.
Cobbo Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 If this is it, im a fan. Something a bit different. I think that looks awful. Too much red and it's too light. Red bit round the badge, why?
Simi Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 What? People buying and wearing shirts to games? Madness. Where did anyone say that?
Guest Bilo Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 It would be better if the lining on the neck was navy instead of red. Too much red. My thoughts exactly. This could be a fake of course, Umbro have been known to release red herrings in the past to sabotage the counterfeiters.
Samilktray Posted 12 February 2009 Author Posted 12 February 2009 I found the red refreshing to be honest. All of our recent kits have been a bit plain n boring. Hoping the numbers on the back are red as I will definetly be purchasing then.
lildave3 Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 Not keen when I first saw it but it's growing on me already. Not sure about the bit of red round the badge though. Seems pointless and annoying.
