But he is 18 .I've told him it is pure wrong but he won't listen to me. He says love is love and age doesn't matter. Hmmm - unless if that love is making love in which age will matter to her father and the law. He doesn't have a 13yr old friend that he's trying to keep up with does he?
Bryn Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 If she looks and acts quite old and he genuinely likes her then yeah it can't really be helped but he should wait til its legal. I normally hate the idea of something being dictated by some specific day, like for drinking and stuff, but in this instance there has to be a line drawn somewhere and he needs to wait for it to be crossed.

I had a discussion with my girlfriend earlier and this is coming from 3 different angles... She said to me when she was younger (13-16) she dated older guys because they had a bit of pocket money, a car to go places. But she would chop the bollocks off a 18 year old trying it on with her daughter who is 15, nearly 16, I guess early 90's a bloke could get away with it. The kid thinks its disgusting (which I am glad about) My views, well I have always gone with older women, my Mrs is 4 years older, so have always thought as someone 18 (classed as a man) is strange for even looking at a 14 (classed as a child) year old girl. Wrong really, really wrong.
