Father Ted Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 How about they respect us by not wearing their merchandise to our matches? What's wrong with wearing a LEICESTER tigers shirt to a LEICESTER city game? I would wear a city shirt to a tigers game. NO- if they want to watch Tigers piss off and watch that shite. A fan going to a game in another teams kit is a disgrace and I hate them and am not afraid to tell them. Read above post moron.
Simi Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 What's wrong with wearing a LEICESTER tigers shirt to a LEICESTER city game? I would wear a city shirt to a tigers game. There is plenty wrong with wearing a Leicester TIGERS shirt to a Leicester CITY game, in my opinion.
Corky Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 What's wrong with wearing a LEICESTER tigers shirt to a LEICESTER city game? I would wear a city shirt to a tigers game. Why though? That's what they're asking here.
Father Ted Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 There is plenty wrong with wearing a Leicester TIGERS shirt to a Leicester CITY game, in my opinion. Just because they are different sports?? Get a life.
Simi Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Just because they are different sports??Get a life. Yeah, why would Leicester CITY fans want to see Leicester TIGERS shirts in our away ends? I respect they are succesful, but this is a football match for football supporters to supposedly show off the blue colours. If you can't understand my opinion then move on.
JoeyB Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Yeah, why would Leicester CITY fans want to see Leicester TIGERS shirts in our away ends? I respect they are succesful, but this is a football match for football supporters to supposedly show off the blue colours. If you can't understand my opinion then move on. Also i bet Tigers fans wouldn't be happy if we went to a Tigers game in our City shirt.......

He/She still turned up though on a cold Tuesday night in fooking Hartlepool though didn't they? He/She still got behind their team. I can't understand your opinion and I ain't got a clue why you have put Tigers and City in block capitals, you are so bloody abstract.

Tommeh Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Always makes me cringe when I see tigers gear at the footie, but to be fair this bloke was in a light blue top under a jacket, but I hate seeing people decked out in their gear. They are Different sports fook off. On the whole though our end was decent, 2nd on the spin pretty much all stood hopeful Bristol will be good too, that run will go down the shitpan at the ****** though.

I thought everyone should wear black?
Thracian Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Pretty enjoyable night, despite losing two points at the end. Entertaining match but the ref was abysmal, totally dreadful.Stood up all game at the front, and we created a good atmosphere. Saw a load of FTers as well. I reckon we had the only two people in the City end who wanted to stay seated behind us!
C-man Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 I reckon we had the only two people in the City end who wanted to stay seated behind us! I saw you discussing that with them Thracian. I'm pretty sure you offered to swap seats with them, or that's what I lipread from about 10 seats away!

You don't wear colours and you have little time for those who do.

I'm pretty sure you offered to swap seats with them, or that's what I lipread from about 10 seats away! You're absolutely right. I suggested my son and his girlfriend swop seats with him and his wife but that didn't suit and it soon became clear that nothing was going to suit him so I just left him to sulk. When I turned round later he'd disappeared.

Corky Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 I reckon we had the only two people in the City end who wanted to stay seated behind us! There were a few in Block C who were sitting, towards the front. I don't know why to be honest, they've made a 165-mile trip so why not stand up and get behind the team?
Muz Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Quality night. Stood at the front which was safe. It was the first time in ages I actually felt confident in our keeper aswell, just something about Bunn which gives you a calming feel. He commanded his area very well. I actually lost it when Porter got the penalty as it was right infront of me and he just lost his footing. (I dont even think any of there players including Porter asked for a peno?) the referee was a first class renter. Onwards and upwards though, another point closer
Thracian Posted 19 February 2009 Posted 19 February 2009 Yeah, why would Leicester CITY fans want to see Leicester TIGERS shirts in our away ends? I respect they are succesful, but this is a football match for football supporters to supposedly show off the blue colours. If you can't understand my opinion then move on. They might have been successful once but they were pretty shit when I watched them for the first and only time in my life against Sale a few weeks back and they've just as shit since from the ocasional report I've read. For so called professional sportsmen they couldn't kick, couldn't pass, didn't look fit and I wouldn't have wanted to pay them even in monopoly money. Apart from their obvious bulk few of them looked good enough for my old school side. The crowd were about as animated as a quarry full of concrete blocks and listening to a rare one who did move his lips was like listening to a needle stuck on an old vinyl record .... Tigrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs, Tigrrrrrrrrrrrs, Tigrrrrrrrrrrs! If there were any Tigers on the field they must have been auditioning for parts as giant pandas and most of the Tigers in the crowd were fat bastards like me who didn't look like they could catch a limping antelope if it stopped every 10 yards to wait for em. Once was quite enough.
