i think we have a good chance of winning our games in hand against crewe and millwall, the 'wall seem to be stuttering a bit losing and drawing alot, not to underestimate them but i think we'll beat them by a one or two goal margin, no offence to crewe but we really should be looking at putting a few past teams like them when we are in this position. Our game against you will be a cracker, if we win and win our games in hand it is a 1 point margin we are looking at, making the end of the season very interesting

I don't care if you win the league... As long as we finish second!!!

Isn't this result some sort of record for the club in terms of an unbeaten run? Is it 19 unbeaten?

Not a bad result when you consider that.

Yep 19. We equalled the record set back in 1971 (?) today

19 unbeaten yes, but i think the record might be 20 or 21 in 70/71 season

Key word is if.

Also, one of their games in hand is against Millwall.

biggest word in our language. am i the only one waiting for mk dons to blow up? their form is unbeleivable. still if you think a record-breaking (since the 70s anyway) run without a loss and a string of draws are a 'crisis' you need to take a long, hard look at yourself. listened after the match and there were people complaing about staying up next season. FFS!

They didn't play particularly well tonight but it still felt like two points lost. Their defence was there to be ripped to shreds but we were too slow to the ball for long periods and gave them far too much of the ball, especially in the first half.

Bunn played well. Ive been offline for 4-5 days so I had no idea who the hell he was, but he looked solid. Brown does the pointing and shouting part of his game very well. He looks like he's there for the beefcake though as he's no footballer, or at least not on tonight's evidence. Morrison looked horrible at right-back.

In midfield, Dyer had an off-day. The rest looked a bit pedestrian until Cleverley came on. I would just play Cleverley wherever from the start as he just adds energy and seems happy in a number of positions.

Up front, Howard was good. You can't fault the attitude or the finishing. Fryatt might have nicked one over the keeper near the end - other than that, he was busy but with no end product.

Before the season started, I'd have taken a draw at Pools as they have a good record at home and tend to score plenty. As it is, we should have run over them but it didn't happen. More so than Davies, we really miss the Tunch at the moment.

Ah this sucks.

Trying to take positives out of tonight:

Howard scored a couple

Leeds lost

One more point towards promotion

Leeds lost

Um Leeds lost.

That's all I got :dunno:

Shut up about fucking Leeds.

There nothing to us.

Exactly mate, people piss me off by caring more about Leeds.

Its Leicester, Millwall and MK Dons. Don't give 2 ****s about anyone else.

Alright alright calm down

And I don't care more about Leeds you idiot. Why would I care more about them?

i didn't say that it's all okay. I can see that it's not all okay because we have drawn our last 3 games where we should have won and increased our gap.

Next time I'll try and be more negative.

Sadly I missed the game tonight - disappointed we didn't win, naturally but we didn't lose and we got a draw away - I'd take that even if we didn't have an awesome unbeaten record!!

I'm not worried though - I think we are mentally strong enough to keep ahead of the pack.

BTW, I'd like to know why Howard took the spot kick? Is Fryatt having a crisis of confidence? That is worrying me more than anything else at the moment....

One of Millwalls games in hand is against MK Dons.

6 more wins and we're there.

The other teams in and around us have some tricky games, and with some of the results that have been thrown up, can give us a bit more confidence. We're going through a rough patch, and still not losing - that's a big comfort for me.

Quite right, and it's not as if the team isn't creating anything.

Having seen the highlights, ours was a definite pen and theirs was a blatant dive. Very soft.

Their "director of sport" said ours was a clear penalty and in a roundabout way, that theirs wasn't.

Sadly tonights game was marred by a very very poor referee whistle mad against us,i did think we were looking tired in the middle of the park with dyer looking out of sorts, the atmosphere in the rinc end was magic on a cold night i can hardly remember many minutes without most singing their hearts out.great to see big stevie on the scoresheet again, another plus for me tonight was it was my sons first outing to a foxes game and despite falling through the chair twice he loved it and now has a new vocabulary which i told him is not to be used at home or school lol.lastly even though it wasnt 3 points tonight its still not a loss another point in the bag,so bring on the rovers!
