Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 still unbeaten in 18! actually its 19 now...........cant see it being 20 though
Poakey Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 I wouldn't like to be in Poakey and Munzie's shoes when Pearson catches up with them. I'm really sorry, was just getting ahead of myself, but i should have known better. I wont do that again!!
Fox in a Box Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 19 games unbeaten by the way - equalling our club record from 1971.I hope we are not beaten at Rovers so I can witness the game where we set the record. Touch wood. yeah i thought it was 19.... the average age of a combat soldier in NARM!
Munzie Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 MK Dons have 2 games in hand like.Last minute equilisers against you are worse than getting a 5-0 hammering grr! Hmm, let me think about that . . . . What a load of bollocks!
Guest shearfox Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 This is the blip, but what a blip still unbeaten in 19.... lets hope we can sort it out for Saturday
StanSP Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 19 games unbeaten by the way - equalling our club record from 1971.I hope we are not beaten at Rovers so I can witness the game where we set the record. Touch wood. Now you've started!!
purpleronnie Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 NOT AGAIN!!!!! It would have made up for the dropped points at home. What it is with us and concentration in the last minutes I dont know I'm sure they must have talked about it but it aint working. Frustrating.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 does any one else have this horrible feeling that the team are going to mess it up?!?!?!?!?!?!! i tell you what if that does happnes i cant see me surviving next season!
Cobbo Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 Now you've started!! Note I avoid the tempting fate by using the word 'hope' and also by touching a certain material. You've got to know the technique of jumping the gun
FilboFox Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 Hmm, let me think about that. . . . What a load of bollocks! Just what I thought... how can a 5-0 hammering be better than 2-2!?!
Joe. Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 does any one else have this horrible feeling that the team are going to mess it up?!?!?!?!?!?!! Erm...no.
Cobbo Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 Hmm, let me think about that. . . . What a load of bollocks! Just what I thought... how can a 5-0 hammering be better than 2-2!?! For goodness sake. Of course it's not better - but you get used during a game to taking a good beating up the arse. A last minute equiliser hits you right where it hurts.
tewkesbury-fox Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 disappointing not to have held on for the 3 pts but bar MK dons (who have a tough run of games see below) we are now 70pts and still well clear of the chasing pack--keep the faith Fixtures Saturday, 21 February 2009 Coca-Cola Football League One Tranmere v MK Dons, 15:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 28 February 2009 Coca-Cola Football League One MK Dons v Leicester, 15:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tuesday, 03 March 2009 Coca-Cola Football League One Northampton v MK Dons, 19:45 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 07 March 2009 Coca-Cola Football League One Swindon v MK Dons, 15:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tuesday, 10 March 2009 Coca-Cola Football League One MK Dons v Huddersfield, 19:45 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 14 March 2009 Coca-Cola Football League One MK Dons v Oldham, 15:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tuesday, 17 March 2009 Coca-Cola Football League One MK Dons v Millwall, 19:45
StanSP Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 Note I avoid the tempting fate by using the word 'hope' and also by touching a certain material. You've got to know the technique of jumping the gun Teach that technique to people like Munzie and Poakey. They need a good lesson. Pearson is hunting them down now....
purpleronnie Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 Hmm, let me think about that. . . . What a load of bollocks! He probably means how it makes you feel. Losing 5-0 you get over it as the whole match you're getting beaten, but to have it taken away in the last seconds is really tough. Tougher if you travelled all the way up there.
Uncle Albert Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 does any one else have this horrible feeling that the team are going to mess it up?!?!?!?!?!?!! This is that positivity I was talking about, a draw away to Hartlepool and we are still top of the league and with a decent amount of points ahead and people start talking about us messing it up. Says it all.
purpleronnie Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 If we lose against MK I'll start (for the first time this season) to become worried.
davieG Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 Annoying but at least it isn't a defeat. It appears that none of the teams from 3rd downwards have made any ground up so it's got to be a decent point gained. I don't know Hartlepool's home record but my blind guess is that it's one of the better home records in this league, and it's another tough away trip we've negotiated. And Leeds lost again, it's not all bad! They've only lost 3 at home W6 D7 L3
Nick Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 Well played lads.Good away point. 16 points clear of third. Championship here we come. Fact.
Munzie Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 For goodness sake.Of course it's not better - but you get used during a game to taking a good beating up the arse. A last minute equiliser hits you right where it hurts. Next time that happens, contact your nearest steward and point out the offender that raped you. That's illegal.
BoneDog Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 22 points ahead of leeds HA. Them stupid bookies had em as favourites at start of the season!
FilboFox Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 Well played lads.Good away point. Should have won had it not been for losing concentration at the end...
