Tilley Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 March 15th? They know where they can stick that. Too right. I don't think I am going to renew at this rate, the club has took the piss with the 'lose your seat' business. So fuck 'um. Only trouble is, I don't want to lose my away priority. The free buffet will be in the room next door.
Raj Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 The more you look into this March 15th DEADLINE the more of a kick in the teeth it is. I HOPE alot of STers dont renew. I hope i have the balls to be one of them too....

I hope i have the balls to be one of them too.... The problem is Raj that if you ultimately end up going to games they win whatever you do and they damn well know this. By renewing you are deemed to be in support of this outrageous deceit but by not renewing you increase the chance of them getting more money out of your pocket and are in effect cutting your nose off to spite your face. Thus perpetuating our love/hate relationship with LCFC

They got us by the fcuking balls and THAT in itself is the worst thing about the situation. They know how the majority feel about it and they still refuse to budge. Im also in the same dilemma as you that i know im gonna end up renewing so i might as well do it before the MArch 15th deadline to save myself some money. Might go and pay by cash....ie all fcuking 1's and 2ps...As they are SO despearte for my renewal they aint gonna refuse are they???

Tilley Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 And don't they know it! Got us by the short & curlies haven't they! Damn club.
Katy Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 Got us by the short & curlies haven't they!Damn club. Yup! I dunno what to do about it. If I do decide after the deadline that I'd like to renew then it's going to cost me more, but I hate being emotionally blackmailed into renewing. Can someone let me into these meetings please, I like to think I wouldn't kiss the ass of the board a la the Foxes Trust.

By all accounts it's not the Foxes Trust that's the problem, the appear to be pretty toothless either way. It's the psycophantic Fans Forum, not including Lisa or Raj of course.

Maybe we should all go in mob handed, they'd have to listen to us all then Lisa and Raj do a cracking job and I know Lease comes away very frustrated from some of them.
James. Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 It was asked at the Trust AGM, but most anger was expressed at the "lose your seat" deadline and then the price hikes after March 15th. If it was asked, what was the answer? Well?
Munzie Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 Having read though the thread I do sympathise with the increases and deadlines. As much as I would also like to attend some of these meetings, I doubt very much that anything (at this late stage) would or could be changed. That opportunity passed when ticket prices and deadlines first went to press. Ultimately we are all loyal fans of the club. No matter what they do (on or off the pitch) we will always remain loyal. The odd one or two will go and the rest of us will moan and groan and then sign up to another season. It's what all fans do! You are only putting off the inevitable. Like many others on here, I've sent numerous e-mails to Peter (I'll respond when I can be bothered) Jones in order to discuss such matters. Normally he lives up to his middle name. £50 secures your seat now. The rest can be sorted out later (in as many payments as you want). Do it!
Raj Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 Fans Forums- We can have our views about issues regarding the club but honestly anyone think they give a fcuk? REALLY? They will always do what they think best for the interests of LCFC. WE are just the ******(well me anyway) who turn up now and again to give them abit of a headache.
Lovejoy Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 I'm most likely not renewing, but if I do it'll be on the eve of the new season, and i guess IF I do, I'll just have to find a new seat and pay over the odds.

It's the psycophantic Fans Forum, not including Lisa or Raj of course. There was far more criticism of all aspects of the Season Ticket renewal deadlines / prices at the Foxes Trust AGM, than there was at Fans Consultative Committee, but...... Lisa only arrived at the end of the meeting (due to studies) but still managed to get more criticism in than the vast majority of others attending Raj was working so missed the meeting, but submitted a letter which he requested to be read out (and it wasn't) ... and just for information one forum member suggested the club ignored the moaning message boards (certainly not a view shared by the Trust)

Alexikokopops Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 I'm willing to sacrifice my priority one. The club can shove it up the proverbials. The whole thing is a farce.
demon_dog Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 But the tickets are dearer this year anyway, no one seems to have mentioned the fact that VAT has been reduced by 2.5 percent. This works out at approx £6 price difference. What do the club have to say about this? Or have the trust not asked this to be explained? It was asked at the Trust AGM, but most anger was expressed at the "lose your seat" deadline and then the price hikes after March 15th. If it was asked, what was the answer? Well? Seriously, can you tell us what the answer was? How many times do people have to ask? What answer did the club give to the aforementioned question regarding VAT?
Sir Fynwy Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 How many times do people have to ask? What answer did the club give to the aforementioned question regarding VAT? they see it as a non-issue, we paid the pre- 15th March prices last year and they don't see why we won't do it again.
Kilworthfox Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 How many times do people have to ask? What answer did the club give to the aforementioned question regarding VAT? I love it I can see the Trust rifling through the minutes now, don't panic! DON'T PANIC!
whitlock Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 Im going to renew my season ticket on saturday, last season i was 17 therefore only choice i had was for an under 22 season ticket, now im 18 so does this mean i'll have to renew for an under 22 or would i be able to blag an under 18?
john_lcfc Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 set up a new name, pretend to be your younger brother and just say your a year younger. then do the same next year. saves yourself a few quid
Guest Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 How many times do people have to ask? What answer did the club give to the aforementioned question regarding VAT? I asked in the FCC when I arrived, but it hasn't been minuted.

Ever thought that the Trust Board have full time jobs and can't spend all day reading message boards & providing instant responses...... As another poster has correctly put, the club just view the price as being the one fans paid last year and therefore "frozen", the fan pays no more than last year until March 15th. The fact the club actually gain 2.5% more revenue is viewed as a separate issue by the club. The fact that the 2.5% was going to charity from club shop sales this season was mentioned, but no indication was given that this would be the case for next season. At the Trust AGM, many present didn't think the 2.5% was an issue to get uptight about & didn't mind if that additional revenue to the club went into the playing budget, it was more the fact of paying more after March 15th which stirred the emotions (and the lose of seat if not paid by that deadline)
Tommeh Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 Bollocks to them. I'm going to shove the ST after 6 years of service and stick to going every away then probably 1 home a month. Jokers.
