Leicester City striker Matty Fryatt was today named the PFA Fans' Player of the Month for February.

The division's leading scorer was on target during the month in the victories over Walsall and Bristol Rovers, whilst also grabbing a crucial goal in the 2-2 draw with promotion rivals MK Dons last weekend.

Fryatt has plundered 27 goals for the season to date and is currently the top scorer in all four divisions.

The striker will be presented with his award ahead of the League One clash against Colchester United on Saturday, March 21

Well Done Matty,

He's a great goal scorer for our club. Do you think he should be recommended for England Duty ?

:crylaugh::crylaugh::crylaugh:

Please god no.

Our current strikers are bad enough lol

Fair play to Fryatt, but you just get the feeling that the people who decide these awards are incredibly lazy and don't really take much notice of player performances.

Definately, scored a good goal at the Dons, but then did fook all for 80 minutes, and generally has been poor recently.

But Howard, Dyer have also been poor too and they're 3 reasons why we are top.

Those 3 players were pretty much the key to most of our goals early in the season, with King and Oakley chipping in too.

Nice one! Hope he can get enough goals for the rest of the season to be the top goalscorer in the UK...

Fryatt and Crouch upfront for our national side :wub:

Craigadams22, you're a genius. Fryatt plays at his best with a tall striking partner.

Anyone have Fabio's number?

Don't know about England duty, but you might get a few quid for him on Ebay. Will fit in nicely amongst your worn Tigers fleeces and old football programmes. :thumbup:

Its time England dispensed with the services of Wayne Rooney and brought in the likes of fryatt.
