SOCCERROO FOX Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Phil Hughes at only 20 smashes his maiden ton against the Saffas. On 99 he just decided to smash a 6 and his opening partner Katich hit a controlled ton aswell. Just starting to put it all together for the Ashes were we will win 4 nil (bound to be at least one washout with your crap weather) So are you scared? Oh and yes i know that the ashes isn't for a few months but deal with it.

Finnegan Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Your Welsh Finners you don't understand and i don't expect you too It's true, actually. I don't get it in the slightest.

Brainy Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 This thread won't be seen again until the summer if South Africa win the series.
StanSP Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 This thread won't be seen again until the summer if South Africa win the series. Doubt they'll win this test though. Currently 2 for 2!
dandannieldanok Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 I'm not scared, England may not be doing particularly well in the Windies but I reckon the Aussies are as weak as they have been for years now. I'm not making any stupid predictions yet, other than believing the series will still be in the balance come the final test.
davieG Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 We like to let you win something now and again you being so crap at cycling and swimming
Bert Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 How many players have an amazing first test? Keep bigging your team up Roo I think we'll lose, but it's going to be a close series.
Sparky Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Cant wait for the Ashes , going to day 4 at Edgebaston i reckon
Fosse Boy Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 I'm going to adopt the stereotypical English attitude and assume we'll lose. And a message to whichever member of the Old Boys' Network decided to give Cardiff a test. You are a cretin.
SMX11 Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 tbh im not confident in England atm but the aussies are not particulary great either....

I would recomende you go back and have a look at our results over the last 3 years. We have only had 2 bad series in that time and they were the most recent 2. How many players have an amazing first test? Keep bigging your team up Roo I think we'll lose, but it's going to be a close series. It's actually his second made a duck and then 75 in the first test. Mitch Johnson has been absolutley lethal today got 3 wickets including 2 in the first over and has also made Jaques Kallis and Grahem Smith both retire hurt.
Brainy Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 We have only had 2 bad series in that time and they were the most recent 2. Which is good for England, right?
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 7 March 2009 Author Posted 7 March 2009 Which is good for England, right? Yeah but your not exactly as good as India in India or South Africa. But we are back doing well against South Africa in South Africa
Brainy Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Yeah but that "you couldn't beat them but we can" argument can go on forever. Im just gonna say England will win 2-1. Just to sound arrogant

Or playing a red hot South African side were we played well in patches.
