MC Prussian Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Charlton can still make it. I'll take Barnsley over Plymouth any day. Argyle, just go down.

Corky Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 We can, by scoring about 5 more than our opponents and winning all of our remaining games (not gonna happen) You could've at least won today
Lamby Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 You could've at least won today We should of won on Sat but the disallowed 'offside' goal was actually onside. We should of won today but our 'offside' goals were onside. We dont have luck with linesmen these days.

Corky Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Yes The teams nearer the top of the table always get the decisions their way But you should've beaten Coventry- you deserve to drop
Lamby Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 But you should've beaten Coventry- you deserve to drop We would of if it wasnt for the post and linesman
Lamby Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 If we do get relegated at home next week, cue this again like last time we were relegated

Yes, we have too many high earners, which most of their contracts are up in the summer anyway, so they'll be off. Im going to the next 4 matches in a row: Blackpool home on Sat, Cardiff home the following tuesday, Derby away the following Sat and Norwich home the Sat after It'll be a real indication to how we will line up in League 1, what with the youngsters gonna get a chance.
Brainy Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 If Soton, Charlton and Norwich go down, the only team that could do what we have done this season IMO is Norwich.
J.Lisemore Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 If Soton, Charlton and Norwich go down, the only team that could do what we have done this season IMO is Norwich. I agree with that. I think of Norwich as similar to us last season, a good fanbase but the team is underperforming bigtime.
Lamby Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 **** off Southampton today, wankers. I hope they go down aswell, they'll be on -10 hopefully, and plus it'll be a good away day again, fighting with their fans, getting a police escort to the station, how fun.
Tommeh Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Norwich Fu ck off down Southampton fu ck off down Plymouth ditto Charlton please do something, we need more London aways, man.

We would of been nearer if it hadnt of been for Maik Taylor on sat and the linesman and today if it hadnt of been for the post and the linesman
Ultra Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I agree with that. I think of Norwich as similar to us last season, a good fanbase but the team is underperforming bigtime. Absolutely, and they'll have a big away turnout at most grounds too. Not sure about Gunn as a manager, though.
Part Of The Crowd Posted 17 April 2009 Posted 17 April 2009 I hope Plymouth stay up. If they do I'll probably go to your game there in the away end. I won't be a sit down shut up neutral though
Part Of The Crowd Posted 17 April 2009 Posted 17 April 2009 Deepest sympathies Lamby, Would be decent if you could still avoid it. Hope your team still give a bit of fight for you.
Asha Posted 17 April 2009 Posted 17 April 2009 Tomorrow Never nice to be relegated, we all know what it's like. Hope you bounce back next season like we have and that you're fighting for promotion.

Well we are unbeaten in 4, even if we win tomorrow and Forest or Norwichgain any points, we go do down. Would be nice to go down with a win though. Never nice to be relegated, we all know what it's like.Hope you bounce back next season like we have and that you're fighting for promotion. Even worse being releagted at home. We'll be back as Champions! And we're gonna win the Paint Trophy, something that you didnt manage
Daggers Posted 17 April 2009 Posted 17 April 2009 Next season is going to be a real struggle for the freshly relegated teams like Charlton - all of the other sides are benefitting from increased League money and there's going to be 6-7 teams all going for the 2 automatic slots.

And also we'll be the team everyone wants to beat. Could be a struggle but if we keep most of our squad together such as Bailey, Shelvey, Hudson and Gray then we should walk the league.
