Kilworthfox Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 16 Derby 35 45 17 Plymouth 37 43 18 Watford 35 42 19 Blackpool 37 42 20 Nottm Forest 37 41 21 Barnsley 34 39 ---------------------------------------------------------- 22 Southampton 36 37 23 Norwich 37 36 24 Charlton 36 27 I think we will be playing Forest, Derby & Cov next year unfortunately. There is a possibility IMO that forest could go down but they have picked up in the last 2 games . To be honest I would like them to be there next season. Charlton are gone, & Norwich & Southampton will have to have a goo run to catch Forest, Barnsley have games in hand.... gonna be interesting Even Blackpool could slip?
Sods Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 In some ways I would love to play Derby, Cov and Forest all in one season home and away again.
CosbehFox Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 In some ways I would love to play Derby, Cov and Forest all in one season home and away again. Mucho agree after the derbies of Northampton and Peterborough this year. Brum and West Brom too wouldn't be bad.
StanSP Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Charlton, Southampton and Doncaster coming down I think.
CosbehFox Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Doncaster coming down I think. No way...best away record in the division. EDIT: I've just realised the irony of that comment.
Kilworthfox Posted 9 March 2009 Author Posted 9 March 2009 Charlton, Southampton and Doncaster coming down I think. You got to be kidding?
Shrenchel Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 In some ways I would love to play Derby, Cov and Forest all in one season home and away again. Well exactly, Id definitely rather go there than Southampton, Norwich, Plymouth etc. Definitely want Barnsley to stay up. Always a cracking day out.
lildave3 Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Charlton, Southampton and I said Blackpool were 'nailed on' to go down at the start of the season so hopefully them. Had a tenner on 'em too. Although i'd like to go there again after last year.

CosbehFox Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Just putting the piles in for a 3rd stand. Unknown if the tempo erection will go up or down and away fans re-allocated. Such a shame considering Bloomfield Road's old look.

FilboFox Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 I'll be VERY glad to see Southampton go down! Bastards should have gone down last season... though in hind sight, it's a good thing we did come down.
Darkzzz_ Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 I think Pearson will have a rye smile on his face seeing the saints drop. The board not the fans fooked Nige over. The rest is history.
welck12 Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 plymouth, southampton and norwich will do me, all fookin long away days for me. Really want blackpool to stay up, great day out and just down the road
MC Prussian Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Charlton seems to be a certain candidate as of right now. They'd have to pull off an enormeous miracle to prevent the drop to League One for the first time in 25 (?) years. Southampton I'd like to see go down, just out of all fairness. They still "owe" us one for last season. The third spot? Personally, why not Plymouth. Don't ask. It's the Ollie Factor. Derby, Coventry and Nottingham need to stay up. What cracking games that'd make, both home and away. Imagine. It's been a while, after all. Then the prospect of West Brom and/or Stoke coming down and - you never know - Birmingham not making it to the Prem... Suddenly, you're more or less looking at a Midlands League.
JakeShingler Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Imagine If Wolves and Brum cock it up like Alexi said Midlands league.
Tommeh Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 NorwichSouthampton Charlton Three fairly big clubs. And with the exception of Charlton shite away days but they're doomed anyway. Wouldn't mind Plymouth dropping either, really is a **** of a trip down there.

robbo Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 I really want Plymouth to go down. As well as Charlton and Southampton, as I live in plymouth, and know Soton and Charlton fans and they were all such b*stards last year
Bert Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 As soon as Grayson left, I said Blackpool would struggle. If any of the teams in the bottom 3 currently go down, I can see their crowds falling majorly, the "better" players leaving, and none of the teams making a quick return to the Championship.
Corky Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Charlton should be pushed further towards League 1 this week, with trips to Reading and Wolves coming up. Norwich have five home matches to play, they need to win all really. I can see them going. And Southampton look doomed. As Bert said, I can't see any of the relegated teams coming back up next season.
