Guest Bilo Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 Very unfortunate for the bloke as I always thought he could have at least found a League One club. Best of luck to him in the future, would like to see him back in England.
Fox92 Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 Never liked him anyway, always going to be back up to someone else. I don't think he was better than David Martin though.
Pete_foxes Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 I always liked Hendo and never thought he did too much wrong. Oh well. Well I for one would have had him over Logan as number 2 this season! To give him credt I thought he was woeful when he first came into the team but steadily improved to an acceptable standard, still prone to the mistakes though wasnt he.
Guest Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 He was always better than Martin. Behave yourself
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 Do they not realise he is a penalty king! Thought he was a good average keepr for the Championship, and would have kept him for back up tbh. Much better than Logan and probably the best keeper we had since Walker.

Much better than Logan and probably the best keeper we had since Walker Stuart Taylor? I know his kicking wasn't great but still... David Stockdale and David Martin I thought were the best goalkeepers we had last year.

It was his choice to go back to Australia he has a young family and wanted to live back at home.... cant say I blame the bloke as I sit here freezing my **** off. I hope its a temporary loss of form and he soon gets his place back
OzFox Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 If you'd seen the goal he let in against Adelaide, you'd know why he was dropped. Almost looked like he let it in deliberately. check it out at about 3.10 And yes, that fat bloke scoring the forst goal is Robbie Fowler

He didnt even move his arm to get to it and thats all it needed.

OzFox Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 hahaha, he is fookin huge, still not a bad finish He's comparatively slim compared to when he first turned up. Must be all that running around in the Queensland tropics
lildave3 Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 He's comparatively slim compared to when he first turned up.Must be all that running around in the Queensland tropics Didn't he do some kung fu style kick to the face the other week? Somehow stayed on the pitch.
Fox92 Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 Lloyd Owusu! Yes, I was suprised when he popped up and scored. Didn't know he was playing over there
billyfox1 Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 I was looking on the clubs website and a Robbie Fowler shirt is $165 (Aus) which works out to roughly £85. Rip off

MC Prussian Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 Hmmm.... It's easy to slag off Henderson, but in two of three cases, can't really blame him for letting them in. Adelaide's first was slightly deflected by a Fury defender and the third - peno. Owusu's? Hendo got caught on the wrong foot a bit. Harsh decision to drop him from the squad altogether for conceding those three.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Didn't he do some kung fu style kick to the face the other week? Somehow stayed on the pitch. He was on his head and he kicked out, didn't even get a yellow.
Father Ted Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009  Henderson. It definitely looks as if he is part of a match-fixing scandal with the guy who gave away the penalty.

AjcW Posted 12 September 2009 Posted 12 September 2009 He is back in the first team tonight and he saved a penalty To be fair he should just be brought on as a sub when penalties are conceded.
