Jimmy Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 think its been fairly well known (all right assumed) for months he's going back to Oz, think he's been linked with Robbie Fowler's new club
Flynny Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Reliable enough for this division and the Championship, seems to get better as he goes. I'm disappointed. For some reason I'll remember him best for his efforts at the end of last season. He did all he could against Sheff. Wed and Stoke.
Finnegan Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Yeah I hope he's well remembered, he will be by me. A knack for saving penalties, a nifty shot stopper. Sure he wasn't Tim Flowers but he was solid enough and did what was asked of him - decent lad.
Sods Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 A keeper who I changed my opinion on frequently. Remembering the days of Southampton and QPR away, I was always nervous with him in goal. However, the penalty saves were great and im sure he gained his confidence back from them. Decent goalkeeper who Im sure will get better.
Jimmy Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Sad really great keeper. come off it, he was only ever solid at best
lildave3 Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Will always the remember the elation when saved Gareth Barry's penalty. But will also remember the fear and horror seeing him flap at QPR/Southampton.
Joe. Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Some good moments, and some absolutely shockers. I won't particularly miss him.
Mr Happy Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 A few seasons ago against Villa in the cup at home, Hendo was amazing I thought it was a shame he got injured just as he was finally made our No.1 'keeper and I'll be really sad to see him go Best of luck for the future Hendo
Asha Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 The Barry peno save will stay in the memory for a long time. Hope he does well in Oz.
Kilworthfox Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 delighted, he was never good enough for us. 1 or 2 superman performances let down by numerous howlers! I can never forget Cardiff away with Chopra getting a hatrick with 3 assists from Hendo.
Thracian Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 The guy made one or two superlative saves and, although not what you'd call a dominant keeper, wasn't especially prone to cock-ups. Overall he gave good, reliable service. I wish him well.
Corky Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Decent keeper, very good penalty saver, and good reflexes. Kicking left some to be desired, and never looked for a quick throw out, but all-in-all, not too bad, and not especially error-prone. As with Kisnorbo, I wish him well in the future.
dandannieldanok Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Yeah I hope he's well remembered, he will be by me.A knack for saving penalties, a nifty shot stopper. Sure he wasn't Tim Flowers but he was solid enough and did what was asked of him - decent lad. Agreed, I always liked him and he definitely improved with every game.
Joe. Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 First Forest game? *shivers* I can remember how many times we collectively berated him.
Finnegan Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 The guy made one or two superlative saves and, although not what you'd call a dominant keeper, wasn't especially prone to cock-ups. Overall he gave good, reliable service. I wish him well.
MC Prussian Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 I won't shed a tear. Unimpressed. All the best back home Down Under.
Alexikokopops Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 First Forest game? *shivers* For me it's the QPR game on New Year's Day. Eurgh.
Corky Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 His save from Freddy Eastwood, point-blank range in 2007 at Southend.
Koke Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 For me it's the QPR game on New Year's Day. Eurgh. That, and Southampton away I went absolute berserk at him.
