Very odd, have the 'English's' requests and wishes been ignored, If they have, good on them, they should protest!!!!
Babylon Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Can you imagine the tits that will turn up?! I'd imagine most of L1 will be there...
davieG Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 The English are predicted to become a minority in Leicester and we are demonstrating against this. I can't see the point of demonstrating against this, are they expecting the council to bus 'English' (whatever that means) people in? I'm not even sure it's true, surely you're English if you're born here, are they saying that most of the City inhabitants were not born here?
Babylon Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Very odd, have the 'English's' requests and wishes been ignored, If they have, good on them, they should protest!!!! Yes they have... I asked for a recipe days ago and it's not been forthcoming. Bloody minorities.

My Granddad is French, maybe I shouldn't be allowed in Leicester?
Dr The Singh Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Yes they have... I asked for a recipe days ago and it's not been forthcoming. Bloody minorities. I'll ask her right now, sorry Babs.......you can call off the protest, by the way Mrs Singh has finished making that BNP flag you requested!!!
Lillehamring Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 so, if you live in leicester and you're black - you aren't included - even if you are english and if you are white and live in leicester, but you were born in cardiff - you aren't included ...i don't see the point of this at all, what are they demonstrating about?
Babylon Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 I'll ask her right now, sorry Babs.......you can call off the protest, by the way Mrs Singh has finished making that BNP flag you requested!!! Ha ha no rush Singhy!!!
Fosse Boy Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 I bet it becomes a right disabled-fest. We're not racist, we're not racist... we just don't want any more fuzzy wuzzies in Leicester. Idiots. Yep. No matter how well intentioned any show of patriotism is, it is pretty much always infiltrated by racist cunts who equate Englishness to being white and right wing.
Lillehamring Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Yep. No matter how well intentioned any show of patriotism is, it is pretty much always infiltrated by racist cunts who equate Englishness to being white and right wing. would you class this as patriotic? i'm not sure i'd class this as patriotic? declaring that the 'english' will become a minority in leicester is nonsense. anyone who believes this is clearly repudiating the claim of anyone with the faintest ethnic heritage to be english, and thus repressing the pride of such people and negating their englishness, or english status. i'd say it is unpatriotic and embarrassing
Dr The Singh Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Yep. No matter how well intentioned any show of patriotism is, it is pretty much always infiltrated by racist cunts who equate Englishness to being white and right wing. That's the horrible bit, I consider myself english, i was born in England etc etc and funnily enough the patron Saint of England is actually middle eastern! I'm all for protesting but using something like this to propogate certain ideals is wrong!!
Kilworthfox Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Although I agree with the statements above dueto the "idiots" or "hangers on" in such matters, who make a protest of something else slightly related to the initial topic. I if read the initial post actually agree wholehearedly I am English, not British I know that England as a country in its own right does now not exist since the Scots & the English "united" to make the United Kingdom. However I feel about England as I do about Leicester City, it is Tribal, and you won't get me cheering from the rooftops if Scotland do well at any sport! I think Andy Murray holds the same views on this matter as I, however he the other way around which I respect him for, but groups that "the royal we" class, such as "the liberals", "doo gooders", "tosspots with clipboards, who often stand next to a water cooler who have a love for health & safety" wish me to cheer Andy on at Wimbledon. The BBC inform me that he is British, however he is often reported as saying he is Scottish. I believe that there are many people like myself who have these English beliefs, but are hounded by the P.C brigade, and the tossers who believe a St Georges flag is a racist symbol. they can get fooked! This English nation has defended that flag for many years longer than they have the British one which was only made out of economic & territorial convienience. Scots are no more English than I am Scottish, and don't wish to be branded so. If the union makes "us" (Scotland & England) better & stronger as a country then I am happy that we as a comunity all have a better life, that is fine. I am an Englishman & very proud of it and our history. I understand the above comments as some undesirables will use the demonstration for their ends not essentially meaning of the protest, if I understand the protest from what I have read above. Personally I don't see what good a protest could possibly do? I don't see the point as yes Leicester is in England which is in the United Kingdom, however why it is so important what the % of nationalities within a certain area is stronger in favour of the native population is such a wonderful thing I don't know? As long as everyone contributes to the good of the local & national socicety what is the difference?
lavrentis Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 I also say this. I do too. I consider myself english, the greek thing is a bit of a laugh really.
Kilworthfox Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 The English are predicted to become a minority in Leicester and we are demonstrating against this. After re reading the initial post I am worried about this line! Are they suggesting that more people believe themselves to be British rather than English? therefore trhe need to protest? If so I am very much against that! As it has no point at all!
