So far as I'm concerned Englishness or Britishness is not about colour, race or background.

Do I refuse to cheer when Sean Wright-Phillips scores for England?

Or when Monty Panesar takes an Aussie wicket? (Unlikely scenario but still..... lol)

The answer to both is obviously no. Many people of many ethnic backgrounds consider themselves to be English, there isn't a distinction between white or 'indigenous' (how I hate that word being applied to human beings) English and non-white English. If you feel an affinity towards England and call yourself English, you are English. End of story.

The thing is Thrac, all the points you have made have had an impact on all walks of English including me, blacks etc etc and not just the natives!! I have nothing against protesting but I would like to know why the so called 'english' are protesting about that is only applicable to them????

I've asked the same question in my first paragraph.

I would understand it if it were a protest for jobs - a protest demanding the currently available workforce be accommodated before others were allowed in.

It doesn't appear to be that at all and, if it was, it would be a protest on behalf of all legally resident English including the many non-white residents who have seen their jobs disappear too and who are concerned for the welfare of their families as anyone else.

The word English did once represent a largely white population but did it ever represent one without people of foreign birth? Not according to the history I've read.

The big difference is that some still see England as belonging to whites (the Aryan influence if you like) and the ridiculousness of that is, to my mind, deflecting from the far more important things that need to be protected in this land.

I'm going to Peterborough. And anyone who knows me wouldn't have to ask.

Yeah it would be a huge far cry to imagine you at an English nationalist gathering.

I'd love to see the back of this anti-white and anti-English government and the sort of theorists who have fecked our country til it hurts but what is the protest meant to achieve and which bright spark organised it on the day City play at Peterborough?

The government already knows the English have "wishes, needs and sensitivities." They've simply chosen to put the "wishes, needs and sensitivities" of others ahead of the English and to mock the fact that they've done so, they've injected lying comments about "English jobs for English workers".

The protest will be mocked of course. Bound to be. As is their way the left-leaners will staunchly remain in denial.

Some still refuse to even see that illegal immigration is a serious problem. Predictably and conveniently, the government have played the numbers down with the Home Office offering a conservative "guess" of 430,000 "illegal" or "irregular" incomers in 2005.

But the figure issued after a survey conducted by the London School of Economics was 725,000. That was for 2007 and would the politicians have failed to notice? I doubt it because two thirds were said to be living in London.

At the current rate of deportation it will take 34 years and all the associated costs to clear them out. Does that matter? Well yes, at least if you're one of those English jobseekers.

Because, again, the LSE point out that 450,000 illegals could be "regularised" under a five-year mimimum residence programme and that would mean 450,000 more (potential) jobs not being available to the 3.2 million expected to be out of work shortly - and we're talking, of course, English people of all races and religions here, not just whites.

I cannot imagine this gathering in Leicester will have anything to do with the BNP.

The enduringly sad thing is that the BNP don't need some vague agenda like the above. Not any more.

They've got all the evidence of the attack on native whites that they will ever need and the pile grows ever higher by the day.

It's even clear now that the Labour Party are, at long last, running scared. And I'm not surprised. Cos there are those who seriously think that some Labour people should be made to answer for their actions against this country's people - and for the covered-up figures, the deceptions and the half-truths that have helped achieve their aims.

I well understand their point but do you not find it frightening that people should really feel so let down and abandoned?

It would at least be comforting to think that's the Labour Party has finally got a guilty conscience. But they haven't.

They're running scared because the credit crunch has found them out big time as the racist, anti-white/anti-English party they really are.

And when the disreputable mockery of a Lord, (Mandelson) arrogantly claims that immigrants are taking jobs that the English are "not available for, or unwilling to do" then he just emphasises the slant of his party's thinking and heaps insult onto injury. Who needs anti-English evidence when he spouts it like a fountain.

Because the question I'd ask "Screaming Lord" Mandelson is this...

If the British are so sodding lazy how come 3,000 turned up at Twycross Zoo in their bid to fill 150 vacancies. And how come 600 people applied for one job as an emergency call operator in the West Midlands? Presumably they were all foreigners!

What a arsehole the bloke is. Let him work in my son's kitchen for a weekend. He'll show him lazy.

Ahhh so its an anti illegal immigration protest.

Funny it didn't mention that on the flyer you recieved. :dunno:

Still I'm sure those against legal/illegal immigration are counting themselves lucky they dont live in other european countries where legal and illegal immigration rates are higher than ours.

The last time so many English complained about the influx of foreigners into the country was 1066!

We have done only good for the indigenous population since then. :D:thumbup:

It's not about the lefties being in denial, Thracian.

It's about the lefties not wanting shit like this spouted about with no thought given to our brothers and sisters in Leicseter's very welcome Asian community:

:D

The extent of your "denial" is plain to see in your own comment.

How can anyone talk about Leicester's "very welcome Asian Community".

What "Asian Community"? From where?

One plain difference between you and me is that I don't see people as Asian (from whichever of umpteen countries) or African or West Indian, I just see people. How I end up feeling about them depends on the person.

Is an asian "welcome" if he beats his wife, claims false benefits, forges his qualifications, preaches hatred against our land, spits on our flag, posts mobile phones to terrorists.

Of course not any more than is the white guy who punches his baby, spreads the pox, or drugs himself to the eyeballs and slashes someone's face with a blade.

Our country doesn't need either but while we might have to put up with the latter we shouldn't be importing the former just become of some misguided idealogy. That asian druggie might be pushing his filth onto Singhy's kids just as easily as anyone else's before long and some misguided religious zealot might end up corrupting some Muslim kids.

"Brothers" and "sisters"? What the hell does that mean?. It sounds like so much college propaganda.

I've perhaps not put this very well but if someone like Singhy was stranded in town and needed a lift I'd put myself out to give him one anytime it was necessary. If I was having a meal and he was in the same restaurant, perhaps with his brother or his wife and family, I'd invite him to join us.

But it wouldn't be because he's Asian it would be because I like the guy and respect who he is. That my friend is how integration comes about. Not by contrived engineering.

Unlike the Lefties, I don't see it as healthy to have people's opinions subdued unless they happen to tally with your own.

In fact the folly of that is staring you in the face every day because the Lefties' efforts to muffle the voice of the BNP

has predictably played into their hands and helped fan the view of the Labour Party as the enemy of democracy, of free speech, of people who represent the white population (whether misguided or not) and of the very concept of transparency.

How bad is that for this country?

To my mind it is real comunication between people which truly mends fences and encourages understanding and rapport. Not political sleight of hand. l

My point simply illustrated why a jobs protest might be understandable.

I have no idea about the purpose of the gathering. It's the first I've heard of it and, like others I can't see what end it will serve although it is unusual and it does perhaps serve as an indication of gathering discontent of the kind I've warned about for months.

And, as you raised the point, I don't give a shit about what other countries do.

Great attitude.

I very much doubt that many illegal immigrants apply to work at twycross, that many illegal immigrants with the correct documentation.

Nah!

As for legal immigration there are lots of industries who rely on.

But I agree they are going about it the wrong way. This simplistic view of worrying because there are more coloured faces than white is laughable at best, I worry about their state of mind.

I cannot remember ever going to a political rally of any kind in my life. I've never been a gang person. Even as a trades unionist (very briefly) I stood my own corner and couldn't help but mock the bullshit. Quite tricky that when it came to strike action that I disagreed with. But we did resolve the issue with mutually agreed negotiation. :D
