dandannieldanok Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Mark Allen leading O'Sullivan 10-9, great match.
StanSP Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 11-11 now. Looks like it will go down right down to the wire!
Salieri Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Ronnie out! I lumped £20 on Higgins at 12/1 so quite glad Ronnie's out the reckoning. That Allen lad will take some beating however...
Salieri Posted 26 April 2009 Posted 26 April 2009 Selby vs Dott a right snorefest at the moment. Over an hour into the match and only 1 frame completed!
Bert Posted 27 April 2009 Posted 27 April 2009 Whats with the plaster on Dott's chin? New Fashion? Dott cues right under, and on his chin. Makes his chin sore. Glad Selby is through, after a scrappy final session, with no-one really playing what would be world championship class. Still, at least he's through, and this is where the tournament really starts now. Higgins will be a very hard test.
Bert Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 147's are hard to achieve. You will not see a better one than that in a very long time. Two brilliant plants early on, with the reds and what a shot on the pink. Nice to see Murphy applaud it too. If you missed it, I imagine it'll be on iPlayer later on. Nice £157k for Hendry.
Milky Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 Just been watching that 147. Wasn't an easy one so brilliant to watch. Hope he beats Murphy easily, can't stand him.
Finchy Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 Selby is destroying Higgins, 3 centuries in a row. Keeps this up the tournament's in the bag.
dandannieldanok Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 Selby is destroying Higgins, 3 centuries in a row. Keeps this up the tournament's in the bag. It was a flawless start, but he's been pegged right back now. Oh, and Stephen Hendry, he's still got it!
isaidno Posted 28 April 2009 Author Posted 28 April 2009 Stephen Hendry's playing brillianty this week , I wish i'd had a bet at 66/1. Selby now behind

Most other players would have done this too. Snooker's a very friendly game anyway
Finchy Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 Selby and Higgins are playing beautifully, this is gonna be tight.
StanSP Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 Selby and Hendry are playing beautifully, this is gonna be tight. Is a Selby v Hendry final possible?
Finchy Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 Edit, meant Higgins But obviously Hendry is also playing beautifully.
isaidno Posted 28 April 2009 Author Posted 28 April 2009 Is a Selby v Hendry final possible? Yep, Selby would play Allen or Day in semi's if he won. Hendry would play Maguire or Robertson.
purpleronnie Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 The one person I didnt want to win the tournament was higgins so no doubt he's nailed on to win.
Milky Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 The one person I didnt want to win the tournament was higgins so no doubt he's nailed on to win. What's wrong with Higgins? Not enough manly fisting? sorry fist pumping...
Matt Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 Shit, Selby really could do with this frame. Higgins leading Selby 7 frames to 5. Selby currently winning this frame though
Matt Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 Selby playing awesome in this frame! Looking to draw with Higgins if he wins this frame which he should do now...He has won the frame. Selby 7 - 7 Higgins. C'Mon Mark!
Ultra Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 8-8 going into the last session tonight. Whoever wins this could go on to win the tournament.
Finchy Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 Why are there so many Cov fans in the audience at Selby games?
