Not bad at all.

As a lot Im not renewing drama queens that skulked down to the ticket office over the weekend Id imagine.

By replying 'nope' to this the implication is that you are a drama queen however you haven't 'sulked down to the ticket office' last weekend.

>_<

I'm sure we had 13K this season, 10k is not 95% of 13K :dunno: So make your own number up, perhaps like LCFC have done :dunno:

Norwich have already sold 20000 so much for bdeadlines and possible relegation

I don't understand why Norwich have such a huge amount of STHs. It's not like they have huge away support.

That would be 12,350 or around that mark.

Norwich have a rolling season ticket system using free direct debits so you pay every month for your season ticket (bit like a membership scheme), this means the cost is spread and people don't really notice it because it's just a monthly charge, it also makes it easy for them to put prices up because people don't generally moan when the bill goes up by a few quid per month.

It's a well thought out system which keeps people tied in and doesn't look too expensive.

Also there is fook all else to do in Norwich.

If you like clothes shopping there's plenty to do, if you don't there's not a lot.

Ahh. That makes our Season ticket business/marketing sense look quite ridiculous if it wasn't already.

The funny thing is that the management at city already know all about the Norwich scheme, the only reason I know about it is because they used it as an example of other clubs idea at a meeting, you do wonder how they make such a mess even though they know of better schemes already in operation.

There's only so many smocks you can buy before getting bored.

Unbelievable. Not only would it increase ticket sales from the outset, every season, ticket sales would probably rise unless we got progressively worse again. I can't see that there is anything to lose from adopting this scheme apart from the utterly ludicrous direct debit monthly charges.

The ludicrous dd charges are applied by the clubs financial partners, Norwich use a company that doesn't charge them, city could probably find a company that didn't charge as well (that is unless city are getting a kickback from the charges so want to keep them).

The only problems would seem to be the overall running costs although I'm sure that would be mostly automated and the lack of a large lump sum being received in March/April although again that's largely offset by the direct debit/£50 deposit system.

So not that much as you say.

Monthly payments are not free. Either the club pays becuase they need to borrow money earlier in the season and pay it off over the year, or they lose interest becuase they don't have the lump sum on deposit, OR the fans pay directly. There is no such thing as interest free.

That is true in general but as with utility bills the interest on pre-payment can often pay the scheme costs, you get discounts for paying electricity and gas by dd because of this. The Norwich scheme is obviously paid for by a small cost added to the season ticket overall price but not a hefty £4 per payment charge as applied by our club. Norwich also have a very early indication of their total season ticket sales and can borrow against this.
