FilboFox Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 This season's candidates have been shocking... I'm worried Sir Alan will turn around at the end and decide none of the them are worth it and fire the lot! Kate is probably the only one who has shown any good signs this season so far... good leader and very energetic... she gets things done too, so for me, the front-runner so far. Mona this week was VERY good... but she's just a little weak for my liking and she'll not be able to stand up to the scrutiny in the end but she is making it through... Lorraine... God... where do you start... she's pathetic and really has to go as she can't actually do anything yet she scrapes through time after time. James is a pillock... full of himself and has been hiding away since he almost got chucked out early on... he'll not last much longer unless he does something. Don't think Sir Alan likes him much though. Debra is not too bad... she's a nasty bitch but she's pretty good at what she does and knows how to get stuff done... she'll last until the end... but her temperament could let her down. Ben is the biggest anus on the show... an over inflated view of himself and once again, can't actually do anything very well... he'll go soon as he's rubbish. Howard... still hiding away and not doing much... I don't really know anything about him yet... but I'm not thinking he's much good so he'll be under pressure if he's in the boardroom. And finally Yasmina... she's had her ups and downs but isn't too bad... I don't think she's as good as some others though so she might get pretty far and then slip up. All in all, I think, unless there is a major change from now on, this is one of the weakest seasons of candidates... but still very enjoyable TV to watch.
lavrentis Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 Gutted Phillip went. Lorraine should have gone the bitch. Bringing Phils and Kates personal life was a desperate last ditch attempt to get Phil sacked. If she knew about the relationship, why didn't Lorraine, being the "PM" split them up? Lorraines pitch was awful, and if Sir Alan goes on by only what Lorraine sold compared to Phil then he's taking a very dim approach to hiring his new apprentice. Phil has been criticised for being to forceful and aggressive, this week he listened to Lorraine and followed whatever she said. They bought awful products, and only for a personal attack from Lorraine was the reason Phil went. She probably did this because she knew she performed shit herself. In my experience with cats, they do the complete opposite to what you want them to do. God knows what possessed them to buy them cardboard boxes. Awful product. Didn't Pets at Home not buy any of them? Pets at Home Also, who is Howard?

To be honest though I wouldn't give a fu ck about the Job if I'd bagged Kate. The way I see it - 1st prize Kate. 2nd The Job. Phillips pretty much won the show in my view. Loving James' these days. Hope the final 4 will be him, Kate, Ben and Yasmina but Mona did an excellent job on this task and could have a say.
