Matt Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 Anyone else find Yasmina quite attractive or is it just me? Sometimes.
Raj Posted 16 April 2009 Posted 16 April 2009 Ben is an arrogant piece of shiet who should be bum fcuked. Nussul was appalling!!!! The Geordie bloke has too much to say.
James. Posted 16 April 2009 Posted 16 April 2009 That was a great episode purely because it highlighted how incompetent the majority of the candidates are. If anyone needed any further proof that some of the firings are done in the interest of TV entertainment as opposed to business acumen then look no further than last night. Ben was absolutely woeful. What an arrogant piece of shit. Typical stockbroker with a poncy education and an attitude that is essentially repulsive. He should have been sacked. He's been on the losing side 3 times and in the boardroom twice - and last night he was awful in there. But because he's now the official hate figure he'll stay in for a bit longer for the ratings. Paula and Yasmina made a ridiculous mistake. How the **** can these two call themselves hot prospects in business if they fail at basic numeracy? It's absolutely fundamental that you can understand costs - Paula giving it the whole "I'm creative, costs aren't my speciality" doesn't wash with me. She shouldn't have made it past the application stage. Phil is clearly pretty sharp and I think the only reason he comes across as cocky is because he gets frustrated with the idiots around him. Also I'm starting to like James. Comes across as a bit of a buffoon but there is sharpness there and understanding. He advised Paula to be careful with the costs so he's clearly learnt from what Sugar has told them. He's a decent bloke as well. Some people seem to think that you have to be a hard nosed **** to get places in business - well that's bollocks. A genuine and honest approach can be just as successful with the added benefit of not being a **** (Ben - are you listening?).

Agree with you about you...i mean James.....There was another bloke like you...i mean James in another series...but he didnt win!!!

Raj Posted 16 April 2009 Posted 16 April 2009 I don't think I'm enough of a nob to get on that show... you on the other hand...xx Hang on a minute..... Why YOU!!!
General Smuts Posted 16 April 2009 Posted 16 April 2009 I've never really bothered watching this before but as everyone at work was on about it in week 1 i decided to have a goosey, see what it was all about. Enjoying it thouroughly. The blonde un would get her dinner quicker than if she were in teh mcdonalds express lane.
StanSP Posted 16 April 2009 Author Posted 16 April 2009 Really not liking how Noorul is still there. Alan should have fired him there and then even though he won. Waste of space. Think the right person went though, even though I hate Ben's guts. Paula delegated costing and then virtually took over costing herself. She probably should have gone out to pick seaweed instead so that the costing could have been done by Jasmina and Ben. I loved Jasmina's quote about how she would make friends with everyone and then shit on them anyway
Tabou Posted 16 April 2009 Posted 16 April 2009 Believe it or not but:- I spoke today to a candidate that is/was on the apprentice. Obviously in the interests of that person, I shall keep his/her name to myself....but suffice to say.....he/she was a MASSIVE bellend. He/she mentioned that "'Cuz I was on the Apprentice...." about 17 times, unprompted. Wasn't even that good of a candidate to be honest. Geordie bloke will win, he fits the profile of previous winners, bit of a geezer, decent sales person, and really a decent guy. It does seem a bit like "Sir Alan" isn't realllllly looking for an apprentice/business leader/manager....just more of a well paid sales person.
The People's Hero Posted 16 April 2009 Posted 16 April 2009 I'd never watched this show until Rachel got me in to it, this series. What a bunch of wan kers. I'm going on next year. I can be more self-important than this bunch of suitfillers.
General Smuts Posted 16 April 2009 Posted 16 April 2009 Shame that Paula went though, was just started to think she were worth a punch in the whiskers.
Babylon Posted 16 April 2009 Posted 16 April 2009 I couldn't go on... i would end up killing someone.
Katy Posted 16 April 2009 Posted 16 April 2009 Shame that Paula went though, was just started to think she were worth a punch in the whiskers. Lovely stuff. I just couldn't be arsed with all the tasks and the bickering. I know if I was project manager as well, there would be people there trying to take over and undermine me until I put the nut on them.
Corky Posted 16 April 2009 Posted 16 April 2009 Shame that Paula went though, was just started to think she were worth a punch in the whiskers.

He knows his stuff and as you say gets frustrated by the c*nts around him. I giggled at the comments he made about that Yank woman. James is a nice lad. But one day he'll get shat on by two-faced slags like Debra and Yasmina.
General Smuts Posted 16 April 2009 Posted 16 April 2009 Get sat on by two slags like Debra and Yasmina. If you insist.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 16 April 2009 Posted 16 April 2009 Noorul is a weak contestant. Phillip is still my favourite. James has gone from twat to okay for me. Ben is hilarious. Debra has a small mouth and giant beak. The Irish woman and Yank have said about 2 lines between them, I hate them both.
Matt Posted 22 April 2009 Posted 22 April 2009 I'm gonna do a Mad Dog stylee post, Predicting. Noorul will go tonight, judging on last weeks performance, Sir Alan will have his eye on him, and he will slip up. Having said that if Noorul isn't a team leader he will just hide in the background and do fook all so could get away with it I suppose.
Matt Posted 22 April 2009 Posted 22 April 2009 Correct me if i'm wrong but hasn't Phillips pantsman/pants idea already been done?
Legend_in_blue Posted 22 April 2009 Posted 22 April 2009 The pirate idea here is clearly going to win. I'm actually quite impressed with it. That green box of pants man makes me want to throw up.
Matt Posted 22 April 2009 Posted 22 April 2009 My god, Did they not learn from the last time Mona did a sales pitch? She is awful. What the fook was that speech all about then? ...I think they are selling pants not cereal
