Rich_Sheffield Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 I think the defence look less organised with Kisborbo. I really rated Kisorbo last season but this this year something is lacking from his game. I don't think it's any coincidence that we had a 24 game unbeated run without him.
Thracian Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 I think the defence look less organised with Kisborbo. I really rated Kisorbo last season but this this year something is lacking from his game. I don't think it's any coincidence that we had a 24 game unbeated run without him. Perhaps we've started another 24-match run! Cos that's three games without a win since Kisnorbo's return. And didn't he also played in the ignominious defeat by Rotherham just to suggest that we aren't incapable of defeat against anyone?
lcfc_jme Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 Kisnorbo should only be a bit-part player and used in emergencies. He really should not start.
jimmy7587 Posted 9 April 2009 Posted 9 April 2009 I completely agree with this!! I'm one that believes in bad Omen's etc, and Kisnorbo is turning into our own bad omen! Pearson, let him leave in the summer!! He is thinking of going back to Oz if I am not mistaken. (read it somewhere on here..)
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 9 April 2009 Posted 9 April 2009 Perhaps it's something to do with his pre-match rituals - he always gets a drink of water at the last moment, squirts some on the floor then goes and hugs the keeper. It doesn't seem to be doing him much good!
Manderic's pants Posted 9 April 2009 Posted 9 April 2009 He's been in training - walking under ladders, throwing black cats in front of him, smashing mirrors, and reciting the name of the Scottish play shortly before a performance.
jimmy7587 Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 I thought this about Wesolowski! Weso and Kisno are our equivalent of Gareth Bale, a stupid stat that Spurs have never won when he has started! Every time I see Weso on the team sheet I cringe!
lou Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Dont believe in Jinxs. Hes just not match fit and its a case of upsetting the dynamics of the defence by bringing him back this late in the season. I dont blame Kisnorbo for that but do think we should not play him now until hes had a full pre-season with the others then see how it goes.
The Doctor Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 He's been in training - walking under ladders, throwing black cats in front of him, smashing mirrors, and reciting the name of the Scottish play shortly before a performance. you mean MacBeth cause thats by shakespeare. the only remotly scottish thing about it is that it is set in stirling, scotland but on that basis romeo and juliet and othello are italian plays
Koke Posted 11 April 2009 Posted 11 April 2009 I think davieG may be on to something here.. Kisnorbo is jinxed.
lcfc_jme Posted 11 April 2009 Posted 11 April 2009 My post in the thread which is a shambolic attempt at slating our MoTM today sums it up: No Kisnorbo - tight, well-organised and generally solid looking defence. We won. Hmmm...
jonw88 Posted 11 April 2009 Posted 11 April 2009 Kisnorbo just aint that good. If we get promotion and have some games to spare, I'd play him and see how he does, I know he's probably going in the summer but if he shows he's still got it then might be worth a second look.
Lovejoy Posted 11 April 2009 Posted 11 April 2009 If we get promotion and have some games to spare, I'd play him and see how he does, I know he's probably going in the summer but if he shows he's still got it then might be worth a second look. I know a lot of fans do rate him. Personally, I just don't feel comfortable with the guy being on the pitch, I don't trust him. I worry he's liable to give the ball away needlesssly or manhandle his man at any given moment.
carterfox90 Posted 12 April 2009 Posted 12 April 2009 he does'nt play & we win .............................
Fox92 Posted 12 April 2009 Posted 12 April 2009 Come on, he was a jinx all along. No Kisnorbo and a win.
Munzie Posted 12 April 2009 Posted 12 April 2009 When we were officially condemned to the 3rd tier last season, I have to admit that he was on my list of a few of the players that I'd have liked to hung on to. Possibly the only reason we did keep him was due to his injury. That said, with his prolonged recovery, Leicester City football club moved on. In came a new Manager and and infux of players. We didn't miss him. Since his return, albeit brief, he has yet to state his claim for inclusion in our regular eleven. We've moved on leaps and bounds without him and if we do secure Hobbs and get Tunchev back, his options will be very limited. Maybe a onwards move to pastures new will benefit both player and club.
Joe. Posted 12 April 2009 Posted 12 April 2009 The defence without Kisnorbo does look a lot more organised for sure.
Thracian Posted 12 April 2009 Posted 12 April 2009 I know a lot of fans do rate him. Personally, I just don't feel comfortable with the guy being on the pitch, I don't trust him. I worry he's liable to give the ball away needlesssly or manhandle his man at any given moment. Leicester fans always love 100 per centers. Lots of em loved Tiatto. But to me Kisnorbo's like an awkward colt - all arms and legs. I physically cringe when he takes free kicks from the back and would love to read a breakdown of his pass completion rate. Occasionally he seems to try specifically to pass the ball clear. But under any sort of pressure - and even sometimes when he's not - he just doesn't look reliable. No-one can be sure what would have happened yesterday had Kisnorbo played but like so many others I thought the defence looked fairly well balanced and even constructive at times in the second half. But there's a lot of improving to do yet. .
